The madness still lingers and is starting to create more Kishin eggs. The team hunt down the enemies and gradually start to become stronger. One day while hunting down a group of lost souls, Maka falls ill. She locked herself up in her room. When she finally comes out, she's a bit off. Can they find out what's wrong with her in time? But unlike everyone else, she isn't giving up. Natsu starts feeling something that he can't explain, but can't let it show. He hasn't really ever showed emotion, until now. Can Lucy change this boy?
