Ayame is an esteemed princess, youngest daughter of the Emperor at 16 years of age. Despite her unwillingness, her life is planned out for her, including her marriage. But, as a wedding gift to her, her Father secretly allows her outside the palace walls for one last taste of freedom before her marriage. During which, she makes an interesting encounter that blossoms into a forbidden love with her royal wedding only but a few months away. This is an AU (alternate universe) version short story of my original story Kaiso (Hierarchy). All their roles are swapped. My characters live in a world all their own with a mix of different cultures and traditions and take place around a time period that would be similar to our 18th century. I did it kinda fast because it wasn't supposed to be as long as it is lol

Princes' Itami and Saku are preparing for the annual Hallow's Eve Costume Festival that their Father, Emperor Fusagi, puts on every year. All are invited. A chance for the royalty to present themselves among the commoners and is very important that every year, both princes make a good impression for their father. The Emperor spares no expense and sends his two sons to retrieve a palm reader for Festival. With a devilish grin she grants them a little parting gift to make their Hallow's Eve an exciting one. They soon realize they switched bodies! With polar opposite personalities, can they pull off an entire day without others noticing?

Young Ayame got a job at the palace working as a jochuu (maid). While all the other female servants seemed to swoon over the two handsome sons of the Emperor, more in particular Prince Saku, the youngest of the two, Ayame wasn't over impressed with good looks or wealth. But as fate has it, she ended up working much closer to the young prince than she planned to, creating unlikely bonds and kindling forbidden feelings that caused quite a unexpected stir in the royal's affairs. Finding herself in the middle of love triangle was just bad news for everyone.
