[Sequel to Bad Apple. Please read Bad Apple first before reading this. You have been warned.] Isabella Swan along with Rosalie and Emmett, take Elizabeth and Anthony to Alaska. Upon arrival, things are not well with the Denali coven. The human drinker is due back at any moment possibly creating a risk for Elizabeth and Anthony. Edward, who's still in Forks, is also dealing with his own challenges of Bella becoming a vampire. Things are complicated even further when Laurent's, the human drinker, group finds them in Alaska where human children are living with a group of vampires.

Luminosity is a work of fanfiction. It is set in the universe of Stephenie Meyer's novel Twilight (and its sequels and companion works). The first several sections of Luminosity are very similar to canon in terms of the events that occur, although aspects of Bella's character, and her internal monologue, differ strikingly. A few thousand words in, the plot is unrecognizeable. The history and character of the Twilight world are intact in Luminosity up to the point where the story begins, with one exception: Bella's a rational self-awareness-junkie with a penchant for writing down everything that crosses her mind in a notebook. She maintains many of the traits and dispositions of canon - and Luminosity is a Bella/Edward story - but she's a distinctly different character.

In this retelling of the story Twilight, everything has changed. On Bella's first day, Edward manages to change his biology class which causes Mike Newton yo become Bella's new lab partner. They begin to date, sparks fly, until several months later, Mike changes. Set in the time frame of New Moon, Bella is now in an abusive relationship with Mike Newton. Alice's visions are about to everything Bella holds dear to her heart.
