Ruby Rios is fat(ish) and needs a job. Her nights of wine and Netflix don't pay the bills and don't help her get fit. She applies everywhere, including various gyms, or: the last places she'd ever want to work. Coworkers who talk about protein powder and bulging veins? Pass. That is, until the older and very attractive Tucker DiAngelo gives her a call. Tucker DiAngelo is the owner of Roman Elite Fitness, a rapidly growing chain of gyms that are rapidly giving him more and more headaches. To make things worse, his ex-wife and semi-business partner is making a power play that he can't quite figure out yet. He just wants a little pleasurable peace... and maybe an exciting girl to share it with. ***************************************************** "Do you like to show pride in your work, Ruby?" The question came out of his mouth before his brain could stop it. "Are you asking me professionally or personally?" She put her hand on her hip and rested her hand on the mop. There was authority in the stance. Tucker loved it. "Personally. We don't have to be professional anymore, Ruby." "Oh no, Tucker? Be careful with that. I might tell you all my secrets," Ruby said. She looked him dead in the eye, unflinching, confident. Tucker felt seen and he didn't care. He wanted to know all her secrets and create more for her. With her. She turned from him and started mopping again. Her butt wiggled with every stroke now, like she wanted him to watch her. So much sass in such a mundane movement. "Ruby, I mean it." She looked back at him over her shoulder, her eyes wide and eyelashes batting. She gave a tiny shrug with her whole body.
"I don't doubt that you do, Tucker." She turned around, narrowly missing Tucker biting his fist in raw frustration.

*UNDERGOING EDITING* *COMPLETED* HIGHEST RANKING #14 TEEN FICTION/ #5 HUMOUR/ #2 CHICKLIT/ #1 CLICHE "Your skin is so soft." He muttered trailing his lips down my neck. I gulp as his hands grip my small waist. He moved his hands down to my bum and put me so I was straddling his hips. My hands lay on his chest as he kissed my face. "You are mine Audrey only mine." *WARNING* This book was published a few years ago when I was younger. I am very well aware about some parts coming off as cringy and I've debated whether or not on leaving them be. I've decided to leave a few parts there as they were a few years ago so I can always come back and see how much I've improved. Please be considerate on what you comment and enjoy the book. I promise it gets better passing the first 3 to 4 chapters. PG-13 This book is my book. My as in I own it. I'm working hard on this book for it to have a smooth plot and such. Reece Bremer goes through life with a scowl and cold personality. Jessica Andrews goes through life with a glowing smile and positive outlook. Reece looks at life with dull, judgmental eyes that make him hate the world and the people living in it. Jessica, well... She looks at life through a camera. Literally. They're polar opposites, and that's what sparks Reece's immediate hate for Jessica the moment they meet. All he sees is a girl with the best life, put in the category of those who get everything handed to them on a silver platter. But who says Jessica's life is like that? Just like a photograph, there's more to the story than what you see. Stumbling across one of Jessica's hidden portfolio might reveal that her happiness isn't all that true. Behind that smile and each picture she takes, holds a thousand words of a very big secret - one that Reece is determined to find out. And who knows? It just might change everything between them. cover by dysanic || 2015 watty's winner for talk of the town ||

I watched as it suddenly stopped its eyes continuing to stare into mine as if it was looking directly into my soul. I couldn't look away from its brown eyes despite the fear that seemed to consume my entire being. The sound of bones breaking and snapping filled the air whilst the wolf began to growl. I felt my eyes widen even more as the wolf began to shake and slowly change until a human was crouching down in its place. There tanned back on display as they stood to their full height completely naked. "Mine."

"I don't want to go with you" I whispered... Big mistake. I screamed as he slammed me down to the ground hard and held my neck, he straddled my hips hovering over me and growled in my ear making me whimper. "You are mine do you understand? Mine. And I will have you to myself which means you are going to join me and my pack" he said and I shook my head "j-just reject me and none of this has to happen" I whispered and he growled sliding his other hand down my stomach. "Don't test me mate" he said and I gasped as he grabbed me "you belong to me now so like I said before. Go home and pack your bags" he said and I just shook my head "I don't want to leave my pack-" "To-fucking-bad" he said "I let you go twice. I'm not letting you go again" he growled and I looked up at him nervously shaking my head. "Do as I say or I'll kill your pack. One. By. One" he said putting his lips to my ear "no" I whimpered and he looked at me. "I-I'll do it" I whispered and he nodded letting me go.
