He placed a kiss on my cheek and began to walk away. My hand fluttered to my face as I stared after him, watching him get on the train. I run after him, slipping through the crack as the doors close, not caring where I was going or who I was leaving behind. I smash my lips on his, bringing us together, catching him by surprise. He kisses me back and I revel in everything. His soft lips, the gentleness, the meaning in the seconds that tick by. The world falls away. He breaks the kiss, resting his head on mine, us both breathing heavily in the empty locomotive car. That's a train. "I love you." He whispers. "I love you too." Our lips meet again.
