|| 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝟏 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 #𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐌𝐄𝐓 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 || Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "The dice of God are always loaded." Abheesht Singh Ranawat, the King of Mewar, found it in the most peculiar way possible. A promise was made years ago and he knew he had to honor his Dado-sa's words. At the ripe age of twenty-nine, the Rana-sa of Mewar had come to a pact with the fact that everything in his life was pre-determined. He was the protector and promoter of the historical and architectural heritage of Mewar, now modern-day Udaipur; he was the most successful conglomerate who had a chain of heritage and luxury hotels right under his thumb; and now he was to be the husband of a girl he had never even seen. Right when he thought he had it all figured out, in came a whirlwind that swept him right off his feet. Anubhuti Choudhary. The moment he saw her for the very first time, it was sealed as the perfect photograph in his heart. Nothing before had been so magical, so enticing, so captivating. His heart yearned for yet another glimpse, but she was not meant to be his. However, God rolled his dice, destiny played its game, and fate brought her right into his arms. It was then that he realized she had a million words to say but none could be read in her eyes, for hers was a story to be told on a much deeper level. 🐇 "Aap mohabbat hain hamari. Woh mohabbat jo saari haddein todd ke seedha rooh mein sama jaati hai. Yeh dil bhale hi hamara hai lekin isme dhadakti aap hain. Sirf aap." ~ Abheesht "Aap hamara woh hausla, woh himmat hain jo dil bann ke hamare seene mein dhadakte hain. Jab bhi yeh sarr sajde mein jhuka hai, har duaa mein iss dil ne aapko hi manga hai. Sirf aapko." ~ Anubhuti 🐇

With love, Stella ❤️

Crazy! Unexpected! Full of surprises! Unusual in a strange way! That's how life is. And indubitably, life can unpredictably hurt as well. A lot. Life is never meant to be our way but our greatest loss is the moment when a part of us dies within our own selves as we live. The moment Aarti died, something shattered within him. The Sanskaar, everyone once knew, had lost everything he had as the fire of the burning pyre rose up high. She was leaving right in front of his eyes and he couldn't do anything but helplessly watch the love of his life go. He had loved her with all he had, or maybe even more, and would have followed her in the blink of an eye but today he failed to muster up the courage to do so. The symbol of their love, that Aarti had left in his arms, held him back. He didn't know himself when, but as time passed by, he had those hard walls building around his heart and the only one who could pierce those walls was his daughter. Until one day... when he realized that someone else held that power too. But what happens when that 'ray of hope' comes with its own fair share of 'darkness'?!

Everyone has a story to tell. Some love to narrate, some fail to spell. © GS_Stella Who are we? Why are we here? What are we supposed to do? Life poses infinite number of questions in front of us every single day... questions to which we have no answers. But what we do have is the prowess to stand strong amidst this clamor. They say you're the hero of your own story but I say, not only the hero but you're even the director of your story. It's in your hand as to where you wish to direct your life. It's all in your story! Live for the little things. Happiness is not an event, it's a choice. That chat with the family over a cup of tea. That soft music playing in your ear. That cool breeze blowing through your hair. That unfathomable love flowing in the air. That beautiful sunrise, that gorgeous sunset coloring the sky with hues most pleasing to the eyes. These small events of happiness are all that make life worth living. This is what is meant to be alive! Never live for what others think of you. What actually matters is what you think about your own self! You can never be the best. That's the truth. Nobody is perfect. All you can do is give it your all. The world is not a cold, harsh place. All you need to do is surround yourself with people who can constantly remind you that you're here for a reason, that you're worth something. ~°~ This book, in here, is a collection of Drabbles, Pentadrabbles and pocket stories that, though fictional, are a part of our lives in some way or the other and at some point we might be able to connect with them. Happy Reading! With love, Stella ❤️

Moving a few steps back he turns around when she grabs his wrist. "Where are you going?", her voice chokes in the end and he bends down slightly freeing his wrist from her hold. "I'm not going anywhere. Please sleep. You need it", he said and she nods her head holding his hand again.
