Aedion and Rowan are home alone and bored. Maybe baking will help pass the time faster?

[Throne of Glass AU; this takes place in no particular time sequence in the Throne of Glass series.] After a mishap of Chaol drinking some unidentified poison, he quickly fell into a coma. That was the least of everyone's worries, though. After a day, the healer manages to wake the captain from his coma, and while he looks perfectly fine, Celaena can immediately tell that something's off. Chaol Westfall has lost his memories.

Everything starts to fall apart when Rowan and Aelin's daughter, Lyria, dies. Then another death strikes a bit too close to home. Not days later, tragic news comes. Eyllwe decides to blame Princess Nehemia's death on Aelin, so they declare war. And Aelin will stop at nothing to make sure her kingdom survives. In an epic finish, Rowan's trust in Aelin begins to shrivel. How will Rowan deal with Aelin's actions?

Celaena Sardothian slowed to a jog and she waited for Chaol to catch up with her. He usually wasn't this slow she thought; she had some telling off to do when he caught up. Years of experience from being the worlds notorious assassin made her want to run straight out of the castle and to freedom but Celaena wouldn't leave Chaol. She even cared enough about Dorian to stay put. However every time a richly dressed courier strutted past her, her chest would scream enemy! Since Nehemia's death Celaena had been even more on edge. Fleetfoot had howled every night. Celaena Sardothien is Adarlan's finest Assassin but when her best friend is murdered and her ghost returns to send Celaena on a life-threatening quest, Celaena must learn to trust the people she cares about; something she hasn't done since Sam Cortland's death. All characters and places belong to Sarah J Maas. Set in between Crown of Midnight and Heir of Fire but does have characters from Heir of Fire in it.

starting just after the ending of queen of shadows, Aelin goes to Terrasen. once she reaches Orynth with her court, she discovers Sam has been living by Ren's side all these years.
