Sarah Hollings is a normal college student, heading to Hawaii on vacation to relax and have fun. When the plane she's on goes down in the Pacific, she's one of the lucky ones who manages to make it to the shore of an uncharted island. Thirteen men and women, one infant girl, have made it to what looks like a paradise, washing up on the shore with some of the debris from the plane. Sarah is grateful that at least she survived the plane crash, and eagerly starts to explore the island paradise. But one of the survivors is not what he seems. Unlike the others, he's not a normal man, he's barely a man at all. It takes more than a plane crash to kill the Atlas Ant, and this paradise is no paradise at all.

"This is The Island, a prison designed for minors like me- too young to be executed, too old to be reformed, and too much of a stain on humanity to let exist. It was 'the answer' to the growing crime rate resulting from a world that was falling apart. The details evade me, but there is one thing I know. The water doesn't seem as scary as it did before." When Jordyn wakes up in the middle of a tropical forest in the mouth of a cat too big to be real, she decides this isn't how she wants to die. The Island has other plans, though. It was designed to kill her, and it will bring out every gun in the arsenal to do so. Her life becomes a game of survival from the mutant and venomous animals, severe temperature changes, and impossible weather scenarios that exist in this government manufactured prison. The twist? She has no idea who she is, where she came from, or why she committed first-degree arson. In this mixture of "The Hunger Games" and "Maze Runner", Jordyn has to unravel the truth before nature kills her- or die not knowing. "As far back as I can remember, I've been surrounded by water. The salt in the air even now makes it hard to breath, forcing me to squint. Sand clings to every inch of me, caking my pants and shoes. The wind from the ocean picks my hair up, sending it blowing back towards the multi-colored houses lining the shore line. *** 'Quinn, don't panic,' Lexi says through gritted teeth. She holds fistfuls of my shirt now, and I hear the rubber soles of her shoes squeaking. 'Too late,' I whine, grabbing the barbed wire in a last desperate effort to regain some balance. The razor sharp blades cut into my palms, making me jump again. Lexi sucks in air and loses her grip on me. I hold my breath and close my eyes, feeling the wind cradle me from all sides as I fall at about twenty-four miles per hour, considering the height of the wall and my weight. Now, I wish I was surrounded by water." South of Compound 4, another compound exists. Within the wall of Compound 5, children are trained and tested for perfection through the Intelligence Exam, a test that every student takes during their sixteenth year. Pass, and you stay within the compound. Fail, and you are sent to another compound. It's common knowledge that they are building a perfect population to remain when the rest of the world falls to the Virus. Yet, what happens when Quinn faces the threat of Compound 5, a short blonde girl whose name he can't pronounce, and begins to question everything he's ever been taught, pushing the limits of the system and his own comfort zone? When a student receives the compound's first ever perfect IE score, a storm makes its way in from the ocean. Can Q unravel the secrets held within the walls, or will he lead his family and friends to a war they can't win against a woman who seems to be triumphing against all odds? Selected is the sequel to Immune, found on my profile. Record Ranking: #25 in Science Fiction

Survival is all about rules. It's really very simple. Follow the rules and maybe you last just a little bit longer than most other people. These rules are harsh. They are cruel and unforgiving. You might not like them. Hell, you may hate them, but the fact is you must listen to them. I don't really care if you think that's too hard. I don't care if you believe me and I don't care if you think I'm just being a hard-ass. Go right ahead, think that if you must. The rules still stand. Sit there and deny all you want. If you think you can do it better than me that's fine, just don't come looking for sympathy when things go south because you didn't follow the rules. Looking at you I already have my reservations. I just get this feeling that you aren't going to even listen to the rules. But I'm tired of watching people die of stupidity so I'm going to teach them to you anyway. Listen to my story, I'm only going to tell it once. Then, you can follow the rules if you want to. ***This story contains strong language and some sexual references but nothing explicit*** Copyright © 2017

Corporal Anthony Stillwater and Specialists Nancy Nagle and John Bomber barely survived a brutal surprise attack by a masked killer in their own barracks. Now, their convalescent leave canceled, they find themselves back in the 2/19th Special Weapons Group barracks on top of frozen Alfenwehr. In charge of Rear Detachment is a supposed sadist and psychopath, Lieutenant James, who has been tasked with repairing the barracks. A simple enough job. However, the troops that have been sent up to Alfenwehr are soon going to discover than they are not alone. For those of you having trouble with the terms, I've put in a lexicon under my works. It should help. (Note: This is the rough draft version, before extensive editing and expansion. Consider this a preview of the finished draft)

The Survivalist is a "a cool cross between Justified and The Walking Dead." *** 15 full-size Illustrations included in the story! *** The Superpox-99 virus has wiped out nearly the entire human race. Governments have collapsed. Cities have become graveyards filled with unspeakable horror. People have resorted to scavenging from the dead, or taking from the living. The entire industrialized world has become a wasteland of abandoned cars, decaying bodies, and feral animals. To stay alive, U.S. Deputy Marshal Mason Raines must forage for food, water, and gasoline while outgunning those who seek to take advantage of the apocalyptic anarchy. Together with his giant Irish wolfhound, Bowie, he aligns with survivors of the town of Boone in a life and death struggle against a gang of violent criminals. With each deadly encounter, Mason is forced to accept his place as one of the nation's few remaining lawmen. In a world now populated by escaped convicts, paranoid mutants, and government hit squads, his only hope to save the townspeople is to enforce his own brand of frontier justice.

Eden has never seen a zoo before. In her world, zoos don't exist. The Anthros do. Anthros are 'human zoos' created by the machines that have taken over Earth, pushing humans into being critically endangered. Humans are hunted for their desirable qualities and put behind the 20mm thick glass for other cybernetic organisms to view and study. Behind the walls, though, humans deemed "imperfect" are tortured and subject to nightmarish medical experiments. Eden is a runner-- an individual given the task of going above ground and retrieving materials necessary for the free humans to survive. Together, she and her best friend Linux are experts at their job and have raided countless warehouses. When one botched supply run lands them in the hands of the cybernetics, Eden makes an easy decision: save Linux and sacrifice herself. This leads to her becoming a prisoner and lab rat to the machines, and she will be forced to undergo horrors she never dreamed of. Saving herself will be the hardest thing she's ever done. When your life consists of running from one hiding place to another, dodging being captured, and living in fear of the grinding of machinery, freedom is just a state of mind.
