A wholesome love-at-first sight werewolf story where the mate isn't an Alpha, and they actually want to be together. Life as a rogue isn't easy, especially for a runt living in No Man's Land. Jade has gained an impressive set of skills over the years, such as evading ferals, camouflaging her scent, and sniffing out expensive truffles, but few packs want to accept a runt. When she finally gets invited into a pack, she picks up an irresistible scent. Her soulmate. Jade must decide if she's willing to grasp what is likely her only chance at unconditional love - or flee in case her potential mate rejects her and shatters her heart forever. ---- Excerpt: My steps faltered as I noticed that two of the pursuing wolves had sped ahead and were waiting to intercept me. I launched toward a tree and ricocheted off at a ninety-degree angle without slowing down. One of the wolves behind quickly followed and began closing in. I started to panic, looking around frantically for a way to escape. I saw a rabbit burrow under a small bramble bush and desperately raced towards it. I darted under the edge of the plant and heard the tan wolf go around as he expected me to come out the other side. It gave me the precious seconds I needed to squeeze down the tunnel. My relief was short-lived - the rabbit that dug this burrow had not survived long enough to finish it. The tunnel was only about twice as long as the average human arm, and I could clearly see the entrance. I sent a silent prayer that the bramble bush would deter them and that they would not realize just how shallow this burrow was. I waited anxiously. No one ever said what would happen when dragons and aliens meet. And no one told me that I would be in the middle of it. Tasha was studying hard to get through her last year of university when she was kidnapped. She certainly didn't expect to wake up with four feet and wings. Mad scientists are bad enough, but things get even more complicated when aliens appear and wipe out the human race. Is there a way for her to hide her true identity in this new world while retaining her humanity? --------------------- Sneak Peek: I jumped over the lip of the tray and beat down hard with my wings. I had expected to only slow my fall; I had not expected to end up gaining so much height. I squawked in surprise and spread my wings wide in alarm before gravity regained its hold on me. With several awkward back-winging motions of my wings, I landed lightly on the floor. Well, at least I know my wings work. I glanced at the man in the corner as he was scribbling quick notes. I turned around to regard the tray again. They say practice makes perfect. With another hop and a single wingbeat, I managed to land in the sand tray with fanned wings slowing my momentum. That was much more graceful. But a wing-assisted hop wasn't true flight. And I still wasn't on the windowsill. ---------------------------- Entire semi-polished draft can be read on Wattpad. Sequel to Upon Wings Of Change. The dragonets are flourishing; both those in the park and those helping the Kymari. As the first dragonets to hatch in the Kymari civilization, Tessa and her brother are paving a new path as they grow up and learn how to fit into the world. New beginnings are often great things, but sometimes shadows from the distant past come calling. ----------------------------------- I did not originally intend to write a sequel to Upon Wings of Change, but due to a rather large number of requests from numerous individuals, here it is - my first-ever sequel... Toltarra has been strewn in war for nearly 300 years, the four major clans governing the mass of land at a constant battle for domination over all else. There are many rumors to as how the great war started. The Thyssen family of Windsor blame the formation of the Scar of Toltarra for the wars start. The Kaepernick's of Zinnann blame the Volco savages who emerged after the scar was formed. The Caplondon family of Caplond heaves the blame upon the Adalwolf's of Carden. And the Adalwolf's? The Adalwolf's have a legend that has been passed down since the great wars beginnings, they say that a woman warned the clans of a great explosion in the middle mountain that would scar Toltarra permanently and plunge the clans into blood and darkness. She was the women who claimed giants tunneled beneath the ground and feathers were messages carried on the backs of birds from the clouds. They called her The Mad Witch and after she disappeared ash rained through the air and Tolterras ground was scarred. When The Mad Witch disappeared, the clans were plunged into blood and darkness.

Violett Blu always did her best to look on the bright side of things. It was something her mother had ingrained in her before being committed. She had vivid delusions, believing fairies were real. That they walked among us. Violett's mother went as far as to believe her father -long out of the picture- was of the fae. She insisted upon it, insisted he was powerful and beautiful and a vivid fantasy come to life. That he would visit her, appearing from nowhere just to dance with her in the light of fireflies. It was something Violett never believed but still loved to hear. Now, on nights when the hospital would allow, she would dance with her mother in her fathers place. Never thinking things would change, she would always dance barefoot in the grass, book of medicines in her arms as she studied natural ways to help her mothers mind in a way no medicines before ever could. ...until they did change. Until two boys appeared to her from nowhere. One proclaiming his everlasting love for her. And the other.... ~~ "Well. aren't you just a pretty little half breed. Don't listen to him. He's a liar when he says he loves you." I blinked at the dark haired man before me, wondering when it was he had arrived as I glanced at the tawny haired boy that had arrived a little earlier, "huh?" The dark haired one in all seriousness nodded, "at least I'm being honest when I say I genuinely just want to have sex with you. Its really not the unseelie way to declare love. Even if we truly do love you." "Uhm.." I blinked at the two as the glared at one another, "who exactly are you two?" The tawny one bowed lightly, "I am Hunter, prince of the seelie court." The dark haired one scoffed a bit, "I'm Phoenix."

Rue is a witch. She was born from a fallen star just like all the other witches are. But hers fell into a pond, making her technically a swamp witch. And no one wants to come see a swamp witch. Especially not one with no actual swamp. All she has is a pond hidden deep in the mountains, where no humans or magical creatures pass through. So Rue spends her days by the pond she was born in and the surrounding forest gathering mushrooms and talking to frogs. Her spells are all practical for her life and sometimes experimental for fun. But she rarely gets a customer for a potion and she's never been invited to a gathering. Her life has always been simple, if not a little lonely, yet peaceful. And then a Death Cap sprouts up by her pond. Bringing chaos with him. Typical of a poisonous fungus to cause trouble. ~~ "Personally, I think you should find another pond." I said with a huff, looking over the strange man who's been murking up my pond for the past few days. His yellow eyes cut into me, slight sneer on his lips, "you're a witch aren't you?" "Yup!" I replied, prodding the mud with my toe. "And witches take clients for spells." "Sounds about right." I nodded. "Then give me the fucking spell." He growled out. I arched a brow at him. "You're not my client." "You-" "No." I replied sweetly, "Go away I don't like you, you tried to kill me!" "You tried to rob me!" He seethed. "No I tried to get pre paid for my assistance, you rejected it. Now we are done." He pointed to his bleeding abdomen, "no. We aren't." I stared at the blood soaked bandages for a moment, "that seems like a you problem."

What do you get when you mix a trader woman, a cursed werewolf, a dangerous forest, and a sadistic warlord? Nothing good. On her way home from a summer of trading, Olivia didn't want to hire a cursed werewolf as an escort, but he was the only one willing to guide her over the treacherous Navier mountains. Not only do they have to contend with bandits and dangerous animals lurking among the trees, but they also have to dodge unscrupulous war parties who are determined to track them down. They forgot one thing though - curses don't play by the rules. ---------------- Please note that this is NOT a love-at-first-sight or matebond werewolf style of book, nor does it have werewolf ranks like Alphas, Betas, or Omegas. This book isn't a horror story. It's more of a fantasy-adventure theme. This book has nothing in common with my other werewolf stories. Copyright March 2022. All Rights Reserved.
