This work is to educate those who want to be educated. To Be Educated is a series of essays that strive to spread awareness of the Black Lives Movement and the recent events happening in 2020 America after the death of George Floyd. When you read this work, you will learn about the state of America from a non-political perspective. Topics will include racism, police brutality, white supremacy, and many other topics. Resources will also be provided to help support the BLM movement if you're unable to protest due to Covid-19 or fear of persecution. I will also include spaces at the end of each essay to open for discussion between the readers as well as safe spaces for readers to share their grievances and beliefs. _____ My platform had always focused on spreading awareness of bullying. I believe it is my civic duty to use my platform and my writing to give the black community a voice. I'm not a member of the black community. I'm a person of color, an immigrant, low-income, a first-generation college student. I'm passionate about history and social justice. This work is a contribution to the black community, my black readers, and to any of my readers who wish to learn more about the movement and show their support. Thank you and be safe.

This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of what it is like to be discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will be just as many moments of happiness, laughter, and love. Naomi Lorraine, more commonly known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her small school, Dartwell High. And even with the help of her snarky attitude, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone, every day. She only has to survive the laughs, insults, and bruises her senior year will bring before being free from the prison we know as high school. However, her final year in high school won't be how she planned when she catches the attention of the three new senior transfer students: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. Their unordinary friendship may be what will save Naomi, not just from her bullies, but from herself. - This is a stand-alone story inspired by my 2015 Wattys Talk of the Town Award Winner TGGBB or "The Good Girl's Bad Boys: The Good, The Bad, and The Bullied". When Jordan is faced with rude gamers, he has the choice to unleash his godly hacker skills to teach them a lesson. But rather than stand by with a bag of popcorn, his friends sought to find an alternative way when facing cyber-bullying. - I have the honor to be part of AT&T's #LaterHaters campaign. Bullying is a significant theme in my writing, so I am honored to be able to produce a work in order to spread the awareness of bullying. In which there is a debate between an optimist and a pessimist. If you don't know what either means, don't be embarrassed. An optimist always thinks that the world is full of hope. The pessimist will just shake his head and say, "Nope". So do you think it's right to believe everything is great every day? Or see that everything is more worse than the next in every single way? Rights and responsibilities is the 2014 theme of National History Day Contest, a broad topic. And I chose to write a just as broad topic of human rights. What are human rights? Is it to prove we're human? Prove that we're humans are right? Or to tell us apart from aliens? Though, now that I think of it, all extraterrestrial beings should have rights as well, but let's just have the Men in Black deal with that- But before getting off of topic, let's focus back on this. As you read about this, think about these questions (not the alien one, unless you want to). Think about what it takes to not only be human, to act like one too. And after you read this, think to yourself. Do you have the right to be human? This essay won first place for the 2014 National History Day essay contest in California.

"Most people get trapped in love, but I never heard love being trapped." The last thing 16, study-a-holic Juliette Rivers will do is fall in love. She has two things she want to focus on: to keep her streak of A's in her report card and to maintain her popularity status. Her plan is to finish high school, go to college and live the rest of her life writing songs and books. She doesn't care about love, crushes and all that love-dovey stuff. She only sees love as some obstacle she has to pass. Erik Rosetta, a.k.a Cupid, loves love. It's in his job description, so he has no choice. He thinks that he knows everything about love. He thinks that he gets the whole concept, can even write a whole book about it if he wants to. But that all changes when he meets Juliette and makes a mistake of a lifetime. He will learn what love really is, that it isn't just using people as target practice. So who's more clueless to love? Is it an obstacle to the never been kissed study-a-holic? Or just another job to the 17 year old Cupid?

The Masked Musician is a famous bounty hunter who came out of the shadows. She is famed all over of Endeavia. But not much of anything about her is known, though there are rumors here and there. Her beauty is far beyond anything you'll ever gaze upon, her singing voice is as beautiful and alluring as the Sirens of Greek Mythology. And her amazing power to control music with a flick of her wrist that can make even the most strongest of opponents go down on their knees. Anyone with a bounty on their head, you must be warned. When you see a lovely girl, wearing a mask revealing only her beautiful green eyes and has a tail of fur that scurries around her shoulders that seems to belong to a small animal. Run. Run at first sight and never look back.

Who is Ms. Amnesia? Is she that girl who lost her memory? No, don't pity her. She's the girl who lost her past, her present. And maybe even her future. The girl who chose this, long ago. Maybe even knowing the consequences and sacrifices she made just to start all over. She lost her memories for a reason. No one knows why, not even her. All she knows that she has to start all over to see if she lost everything for nothing.
