Inspired by the New York Times best seller Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. As time ticks by with every moment spent on the island of Cairnholm, Amber DeVine realizes she hasn't got much of a life at all. The days simply consist of waitressing at her Uncle Kev's pub or enjoying the company of her only friend, Martin. That is, until a mysterious boy comes to visit, claiming his late grandfather knew things about the abandoned children's home that resides on the island, things no ordinary person could perceive. Together, they uncover the truth about the children there, as well as their distinct Headmistress who may be linked to both the boy and Amber's past. All the while, rewriting their lives for the better and unravelling a past Amber would rather keep hidden. A tale of adventure, regret, romance and down right peculiarities. I don't own any of the rights or credits of the characters and story of Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children (Ransom Riggs does) except Amber DeVine and her peculiar antics. Please enjoy my remake with an extra character! (This is a MillardXOC fic). Nettalyn Apiston thought she was dead. But that was before she opened her eyes to her new world, the one that was around her. Having spent the past three weeks with Myron Bentham inside his magnificent house, she wants to see her friends again. But loyalties split from the war make travel to the Ymbrynic side of things difficult. The reuniting of friends sounds like a joyous occasion, but a lot can change in three weeks.
