This is a Sequel to Dixon Bloodfall. It has been five years since Quinn was told by the dying Merle Dixon to run - run away, as fast as she could, minutes before he was rescued by his group. Five years since she first told herself he was dead, and that they'd be better off if she were too - and five years since she had first found Evangrove, a near carbon copy of Woodbury in northern Pennsylvania. However, today, she finds the man she left for dead all those years ago - and wonders if history truly repeats itself. Time has changed everything, and everyone. In a long term scouting mission assigned by Rick, the Dixon brothers agree to head for the north and investigate the rumors of a self sustaining society, hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Daryl can’t get over the jealousy Quinn caused him, and Merle can’t get over her absence - but everybody will have to surpass their own obstacles if they want to make it out of Evangrove alive. Flashbacks are in italic. The Walking Dead does not belong to me, and all characters besides my own, belong to them. Once again, all credit belongs to AMC's The Walking Dead, all that belongs to me are my original ideas and my character.

No one knows her name, her age, or anything else about her. She was found on the side of the highway after the bombing of Atlanta, abandoned by her father. She won't talk much, and definitely won't reveal her name. She isn't comfortable around these people. Though the little girl has never met them personally, she knows the Dixons. They're speech and mannerisms are familiar to her. When she approaches the brother one day asking for a favor, Merle takes interest in the girl. But out of all people in the camp reaching out to her, why is this orphan seeking refuge with the rednecks? January, 2016 Ongoing as of 2022 Current updates are set in Season 3 I have this posted on Fanfiction.net, and AO3 under the same name. I DO NOT OWN THE WALKING DEAD OR IT'S CHARACTERS, just my main OC and her dad

Following closely the third season of the series, this story reveals the life of a fifteen year old survivor, Quinn, and her unusually close, but platonic, relationship with Merle Dixon as they survive the apocalypse together. Having lost her family in the first few weeks of the outbreak, Quinn is no stranger to the horrors this new world brings. The only silver lining was having Merle Dixon find her on the precipice of death and nurse her back to health. Because of that, Quinn has irrevocably bonded with the man on a deep level. Perhaps she is too deeply entwined in his life, too blind to what he has done, and what he is capable of. Perhaps she doesn't know the true Merle Dixon. Nevertheless, she will follow the older man to hell and back, and that truth will be tested in the time to come. Flashbacks are in italic. The Walking Dead does not belong to me, and all characters and dialogue belong to them. Chapters follow (for the most part) the plot from the episode, and some dialogue is taken directly from the show. Once again, all credit belongs to AMC's The Walking Dead, all that belongs to me are my original ideas and my character.
