Leo is the new delivery boy to the most prestigious summer camp in Australia, Camp Animorphica. Seventeen year old Chase never did like the vast wilderness of the woods. So when his family goes camping, he's far from thrilled. At least he could get a chance to practice his photography. But things take a turn for the bizarre when, during a hike with his mother and little brother, he finds a fox within the bushes. He follows the fox, not wanting to lose a potential photo. The fox eventually stops near the trunk of a tree, and is sitting upon a crystal. Upon contact with the crystal, he awakens in a world not unlike the one he was in before; but he is no longer a human. He needs to find a way to get back home. After meeting a few new friends however, he's not sure if he wants to.
