"Bakit ba hindi ka na lang magtiwala sa akin?" Umiiyak na sabi niya. Gusto kong punasan yung mga luha niya, gustong-gusto kong patigilin siya sa pag-iyak. Ayoko makitang nasasaktan siya lalo na't ako ang dahilan. "May tiwala ako sa'yo, sobra-sobra pa nga e." Hindi ko na rin napigilan ang pagtulo ng mga luha ko. "Simula nung sabihin ko sa'yong mahal kita, binigay ko na rin sa'yo yung pagtitiwala na sinasabi mo." Tinalikuran ko siya. Ang gago gago ko kase iiwan ko na naman siya. Kahit hindi ko siya nakikita, ramdam na ramdam ko ang paghahabol niya ng hininga. Buhay namin ang isa't isa. Mahal na mahal ko siya, hindi ko nga lang alam kung paano yun ipapadama ng walang halong sakit. "I'm sorry." Dalawang salita pero milyun-milyong kirot ang hatid. Wala akong tiwala sa sarili ko . . . dahil hindi ko alam kung paano gawin na manatiling akin siya.
