Donghua Dijun was born to be the Master of the Universe. Uniting the realms was his responsibility from birth. He finds himself continuously fighting bloody wars as many innocent lives are lost. He knows that this chaos couldn't continue any longer, but he didn't how long they'd have to be in war for there to be peace. After countless years of pandemonium, Donghua Dijun decided that enough was enough. He found himself standing in front of the Stone of Three Lives ready to exchange his fate in love for the peace of the realms. Before he could call out to Fate, a soft voice called him from behind. "We've met at last Donghua."

Donghua Dijun gave the pimpon fruit to Jiheng? He clearly knows how eager I am to get the fruit. In order to get the fruit, how diligent and attentive I am! He knows it. Why did he change it? Even at this time, does he still play tricks on me? Bai Fengjiu never imagined Donghua Dijun, the man she loved, would betray her this way. She knew he didn't love her, but she still hoped that he may have feelings for her. After all, he had been treating her specially lately. Her daydream is shattered when she realizes nothing she does compares with a few simple words from Jiheng. Heartbroken, she decides to beg the Queen of Biyiniaos, Juno, to help her leave Fanyin Valley. She could not take it anymore. Donghua had realized what destiny was on the day of the competition. He watched his Xiao Bai throw off her classmates from the snow stakes effortlessly. He had thought that if he must pick a queen, Xiao Bai wasn't a bad choice. He startingly realizes the Xiao Bai was his only choice and no one else. It turned out he loved her. He wanted to love her, and so he did. He resolved at that moment, no one but Xiao Bai was destined to be his Queen. He had no idea just how his careless actions had caused a storm in his little fox's heart.

Bai Fengjiu uses her blood to seal an evil tiger spirit, causing irreparable damage to her spirit. She finds out that she has until her Heavenly Trial to live. She knows that Donghua Dijun does not love her back, but she couldn't help but be a little selfish to reach for her dream one last time before she perishes. "Donghua will you marry me? We only need to be together until my Heavenly Trial, not forever. After I pass my trial, my father will be convinced I can live without a prince consort. We can separate then.... Then I would keep my father from worrying and we won't need to stay together forever so.... That.... That's not defying fate is it?" Donghua Dijun is shocked to find the woman he has been missing for over 200 years, lying beside him in bed, proposing. At a moment of weakness, he agrees. Unknown to him, the woman he loves is about to face her fated calamity.

What happens after Dong Hua and Xiao Bai get out from the chasm. This is a variation of the story in the 2nd book "The Pillow Book" in the Three Lives, Three Worlds Series of Tangqi Gongzi. In this variation, there is no Bai Gun Gun yet at the start of the story. There will be many sweet moments here for our couple but it would not be without a little bit of angst. Don't worry, this will have a happy ending as I hate sad endings. Also, for the most part, I assumed that the reader is familiar with the story of Eternal Love of Dreams as I will not go into too much details on the background of the story and the characters. I sometimes will go back to a previously published chapter to make some changes to make the story better and edit grammatical errors. I'm sorry if this will cause any inconvenience to the readers. There may be some chapters with more mature contents. I will try to flag them at the beginning of the chapter. This is the first book I have written so please bear with me. Having written a few chapters, I've noticed that I'm not an outline writer which means I really don't know where this story will be taking me yet but rest assured, I will be finishing it as another thing I can't stand are unfinished stories. This story is about the birth and development of the best friendship between Donghua Dijun and his little fox. In my re-imagined story, I am attempting to give our beloved leads a genuine chance at love with their own thoughts, behaviors, and desires. Granted, life is full of misunderstandings, obstacles and karma. Donghua learns that being a heartless god has its consequences. Having been careless and inconsiderate with the hearts of those who had fawned over him, he'll find it difficult to fulfill his. At its very core, this is a character-driven story about healing from trauma and the growth of a deep and meaningful friendship. It also attempts to explore the coming of age of love and desire for each of them. Those who can't tolerate slow burns should avoid reading this story ;) They meet much later, (she never becomes his maid) and was not involved in the BQ/Su Su/YH situation. Xiao Bai is young and very innocent as this story unfolds. Donghua is arrogant and obtuse, though with more playfulness and tenderness in the style of The Pillow Book. His edges are much softer. There are quite a few characters from the original series. Zhe Yan, Mo Yuan, Bai Zhen, Bai Qian, Ye Hua, Lian Song, Si Ming and Zhong Lin will make appearances, plus others from Eternal Love and ELOD. Lust + desire will play a part of this story so mature themes/content in later chapters. Reader discretion advised. Story is also LGBTQ+ friendly, as am I. This story and the characters are based on Tangi Gongzi's Three Lives Three Worlds, the Pillow Book, and TMOPB. I try to follow the show the most (because I love it to pieces), then the novel, plus Back to Chaos and other one-shot takes released by Tang Qi though with extra spiciness because Donghua being possessive, naughty and insatiable in bed tracks with his personality, don't you agree? Each chapter will have a note about when the story takes place if it's not clear. Warning: though there are a lot of sweet moments, there are also a lot of sexually explicit content (noted with a 🔥 in the subtitle). The What If? Chapters tells what happens if Donghua had died in the Starlight Ward in the show and the world turned to chaos, and Fengjiu travels back in time to save him. It has the same tone as the other one-shots (mostly cute and funny) but a little darker and more violent.

Feng Jiu has been missing for over 20,000 years. Her family has been searching for her ever since they found out she has went missing. While Feng Jiu was missing she was going through a series of events, she started to wonder why all of this was happening to her. She finally realized that the series of events was to get her wings. Feng Jiu started to think and finally decided it was time to return home. As they were catching up there was a banquet being held at the nine palace for the Heavenly Lord's birthday. There she just happens to run into Donghua Dijun (he hasn't heard that she has returned). Ye Hua and Bai Qian are already married but Ye Hua still hasn't succeeded the throne yet. This will include a very serious Feng Jiu and she will be very independent and powerful, but she will be a little childish when she is around her loved ones. She also has wings like Maleficent, and she will be a nine tailed phoenix fox. she can not hide her wings in human or fox form. Plus she will be able to turn into a phoenix.
