"There are only two constants in Gale Valley, Texas; people die and the weather is as illogical as possible." Gale Valley, Texas has become a tourist spot because of the weather; Snow storms in the heat of summer; blistering hot days in the dead of winter; tornadoes out of season and storms that seemingly come and go on a whim. And in the center of it all is Noah Parke, a boy born with his emotional state tied to the weather. But he, of all people, knows how much these powers can be a blessing... and a curse.

Death too had a strange beauty to it. The Gravedigger had always found the dead to be perfect. No matter how they died, they were all peaceful in their death, and he often envied them in their peace. While he enjoyed his life, he often wondered what the peace of death was like. Being a digger in a ninja village, he saw many different bodies with many different ways to die. He saw them in all ages and saw funerals that were private and quiet to ones that held the entire village. As he continued digging in the darkening morning, he remembered the strangest funeral he had ever done...

"Finish... it..." he gasped. "Don't act brave. You're terrified. Is this truly the first time you've stared death in the face?" Boruto elected not to answer, but that was answer enough. "I won't kill you." "W-why?" Boruto managed to get out. Ansei stood and started walking away. "Why?" Boruto called weakly, but a little louder. Ansei stopped for a moment, bowing his head. "Because you can stop me..." and with that, he disappeared into the village. After a heated argument with his father, Boruto decides that he and Himawari are better off not living in Konoha. Sarada decides to tag along in their doomed attempt to run away to make sure they don't get themselves killed. After only a day out of the village, Boruto realizes his mistake and decides to head back. Upon returning home, however, they find themselves in a village untouched by Pain's attack; a village with an Uchiha as Hokage and the Hyuuga Clan are threatening civil war at every turn; a village that is far more dangerous than their own. In that village is another child named Ansei; who has been living as the Hyuuga's lap dog since his first birthday. Full of anger, Ansei is a force to be feared and respected... When Boruto meets his otherworldly sibling, it becomes a race to get his family home and away from this world that seems hellbent on getting rid of the children that shouldn't exist in it.

After running away from Konoha to teach his dad a lesson about respecting his family, Boruto is save from bandits wanting to use him for ransom purposes by an elderly man who wants nothing to do with him. But with his injuries too much for the long journey back to Konoha, the old man and Boruto are forced to live with one another until his injuries heal, and Boruto becomes very interested in unraveling the old hermit's secrets.

Six year old Naruto Uzumaki was always thinking of others, more then himself. He never asked for anything, and was always such an angel. But, on that fateful day, a mysterious being appeared before the boy, and the life of Naruto Uzumaki was forever changed...

I've known Hidan for a long time before I met my demise. To me, he was just a fool who praised a god who didn't exist. But when I became a Shinigami and read the story of Hidan's life, I realized that I was horribly mistaken. He wasn't all that I thought he was. Hidan of the Akatsuki was a man who wanted to give everything up for the only person he would ever love, but, maybe I was right on some parts.
