[Watty Awards 2019 Winner - New Adult!] Damian Ryker is something of a nomad. In his 22 years of life he's moved a grand total of 14 times. But he's here to stay this time, honest. He's already got himself a cushy new job in town and he's exploring the popular local shops, like that coffee shop down the road. It seems nice enough, perhaps a little too hipster for his taste and the barista is awkward, if not the slightest bit weird. But there's something strange about the innocuous café, like-oh I don't know-earthquakes that seem to destroy it every morning before miraculously repairing themselves and leaving him with the only memory of it. WATTY 2019 WINNER Hale, a state of the art android, can do nearly anything a human can. He cooks meals, cleans and organizes the house, repairs broken appliances, and runs errands. He can even provide for the more carnal needs of his owner. None of these tasks should present any challenge for Hale, and they don't-until he meets his next door neighbour, Rayner. Rayner seems like an unassuming gardener, but he asks Hale a lot of questions. Does Hale wish he could smell or taste food? What would he look like if his appearance hadn't been chosen for him? From the moment they meet, Hale runs into errors in otherwise simple tasks. He experiences bizarre sensations that none of his diagnostic tools can explain, and struggles to appease the people in his owner's social circle. As the errors in his programming begin to wear on his owner's patience, Hale faces the most difficult decision yet. If he can't evolve to meet her needs, he'll be returned and recycled into parts for future androids. If he does evolve, is he still just an android? Or something more? In all this, Rayner is the only man who can help him, and Rayner only has one question left for Hale. What does he want? Hale wasn't designed to want anything, but perhaps he can find the answer in the man with all the questions. ○○○ Personne ne la connaît réellement, personne ne connaît son histoire. Tout le monde oublie qu'elle existe et qu'après la glorieuse victoire de l'Élu, elle n'est plus rien. La guerre lui a tout enlevé. Tout. Personne ne se doute que sous son visage - à la parfaite copie d'une autre - se cache des fissures et des blessures résolument ouverte qui, après ses pertes atroce, ne feront que s'agrandir. Alors c'est pour ça que dans cette histoire on pense à elle, car, soyons réaliste, sa vie n'est pas toute rose contrairement à la couleur étincelante que le fruit de sa propre chair arborait avec ravissement. Pour une fois mettons l'Élu de côté et parlons d'Andromeda Tonks, une femme aux long cheveux noir qui lui rappelle tout les jours d'où elle vient, une femme dont le visage ne lui appartient pas totalement, une femme avec un cœur fermé sans qu'elle le veuille vraiment, une femme qui a tout donné pour sa famille mais justement, une femme qui vient de perdre sa seul raison de vivre... son mari... et sa fille... Même si je me suis approprier ce personnage magnifiquement bien imaginé par J.K Rowling et qui lui appartient totalement, cette histoire n'est pas forcément celle que vous vous serez faite pour ceux qui connaisse ce personnage et si vous n'avez jamais entendu parler d'elle, cette histoire est faite pour vos cher(es) lecteur(trice), ce sera un moyen pour vous de rencontrer cette sorcière perdu, de lui apporter un peu d'intérêt. Follow Harry as he comes to terms with the traumatic events he experienced to bring Voldemort down, develops his relationship with Ginny, struggles with decisions about what to do with the rest of his life and discovers what it will take to get there.

When Hermione visits her favorite muggle cafe in London she never expects to run into Draco Malfoy for the first time in three or four years and he has some information that Hermione desperately needs. Together they embark on an adventure and Hermione starts to feel a little different about the man who mocked her all those years.

Harry has had weird years at Hogwarts, but his sixth year is possibly the most confusing and weirdest year. Hermione is moody, Snape keeps disappearing, Professor Dumbledore seems to hide something from him and Draco Malfoy is acting strange and clingy around Harry. This might prove to be the weirdest year at Hogwarts yet.
