[Highest Rank: #1 in Teen Fiction] Luna Prescott is a young special agent and Ace Crawford is the President's son. On one eventful day, she gets given the undercover mission to protect the Ace from the 'danger' in Westside High. Will her physical and mental abilities be enough to keep him safe, let alone survive the torture they call high school? *** We carried on walking through the amusement park until he pointed to a game, where you had to shoot down targets to win. "I bet I will beat you in that." He grabbed my hand and lead me to it. Little does he know. "What do I get when I win?" I laughed. "When? Pshhhh, I will get you a new motorcycle." I keep on forgetting how rich he is. "That means I don't need to catch rides with you anymore," I grin, "Game on, loser." He grabbed his water gun and shot at the cardboard targets and got down 15 out of 20 in the time he had. "Your turn, cupcake" Ace handed me the water gun. "Watch and learn, pretty boy." I grabbed the gun and aimed at the targets. After my two minute go, I shot down 20 out of 20. I turned to him with a smug expression and his mouth hung open. *** Luna Prescott is a 17 year old spy who has been working with the Agency for her whole life. Ever since her parents, former spies, had been found 'off the grid' on a mission when she was only 5, the agency took her and her brother in. Showmance: a romance/relationship that is started during the production of a play or musical. Very common in, but not limited to, high school shows. Len (short for Lennon) and Eric meet under interesting circumstances. She has just been roped into being her friend's "Girl Friday" (AKA assistant stage manager) and he was somehow convinced by his twin, Sophie, to do the sound design for their high school's production of Beauty and the Beast. United by their inability to understand musicals, the two help each other navigate the politics of the tech crew, which cast members to avoid, and the rules of showmances. Although neither had ever heard of the word, they learn it's just part of the package when they find themselves in one. And just because the show is obviously going to be a failure, does their relationship have to be? *cover by @worriedly*

The Three Musketeers (French: Les Trois Mousquetaires) is a novel by Alexandre Dumas, which recounts the adventures of a young man named d'Artagnan after he leaves home to travel to Paris, to join the Musketeers of the Guard. D'Artagnan is not one of the musketeers of the title; those are his friends Athos, Porthos and Aramis, inseparable friends who live by the motto "all for one, one for all" ("tous pour un, un pour tous").

❇️ 2018 WATTYS WINNER! The Originals category ❇️ - "The Breakfast Club" meets "Nancy Drew" in this most unusual YA Mystery. SUMMARY: Five high school students, with little in common other than being descendants of the town founders, are forced to work on a history project together. But when their history project uncovers evidence of a long-buried town secret, the kids must piece together the clues behind their discovery before its legacy comes back to haunt them. ***** Using ACTUAL, archival material (some dating as far back as 1776), The Descendants weaves a tale of mystery and intrigue, constructed entirely from real photographs, documents, and snippets of history from a small, rural town in New Hampshire. What Dan Brown did with conspiracy theories in "The DaVinci Code" and Ransom Riggs did with historical photographs in "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children," I will attempt to do in "The Descendants," but with teen protagonists and the Cheshire County Historical Society. :-) Why? 'Cause I'm crazy like that! Yeah, I know...History?! Blah! But it actually turned out really fun! :-)
