She's been a single bird since training. She was at the top of her gun training class. She was able to stay alive as a loner bird since she was seven. Even though older teams usually took her out for missions she always felt alone. The only team that kept tabs on her was the Toma team. They trained her. They know how she can function. She's got a trade. She knows her way around a gun. If she needs a specific gun she can get it without batting an eyelash. WARNING: This is an original team. The dogs and bird are my characters. The GB and SB teams I do not own. The locations in Charleston I do not own. CL Stone is the owner of the Academy series. There are some places from the original GB and SB series in this book. Characters also tend to pop in at unexpected times. ENJOY!!!! PS this is copyrighted no stealing any of this work. Those that find a book completely similar to this book that have a later date than this book can report it. If I find one with the exact same tags and plot at a later time than when my book was written I will ask politely for you to take it down before reporting it.

Sang isn't a fifteen-year-old cowering at the hands of her stepmother. She's on her own. Eighteen and living in a house her father bribed her with alongside two faithful dogs, she's been paving her own way since the payout a year ago. When Marie died in a car accident, her mother was hospitalized and her father remarried. Sang was left with a house on Sunnyvale Court, another two years in high school, and no friends to speak of. She's made it just fine on her own and she's not apologizing for existing anymore. Meeting nine new guys right before her senior year at Ashley Waters is an odd coincidence that shakes her foundation and causes her to reevaluate what matters to her. After all, she didn't need friends then, she doesn't need friends now. Right?

This is a Firefly/Academy crossover that takes place six years after the events from the movie, "Serenity". The people now know the lengths the Alliance will go to in order to keep power, and the civil unrest that is more common to the boarder planets is being seen in the core. Freedom fighters rally under the Browncoats banner, and elite teams train in the ultra-secretive, and ever illusive Academy. Captains Malcom Reynolds and Zoë Washburn head the resistance, while the Tams (River, Simon, and his new wife Kayli) run the Academy, and Jayne and the companion Inara are regular liaisons between the two. This is the story of one of those elite teams, handpicked by the Captain himself to crew his firefly class transport ship, Serenity. In a cover run where the Blackbourne crew are smuggling medicine and supplies out of Ariel, they take on a small group of passengers...but not all who board are what they appear to be...
