A young girl named Maddy moves into a new town. This means she has to start all over. But when she finds out her neighbor, Shawn Mendes, doesn't have any courage to accomplish using his guitar, she begins helping him form who he is today. Suddenly, she gets an opportunity to meet her idol. They begin to like each other once she changes her appearance. But what she didn't know, was a certain boy accepted her for herself.
