This story is about a girl name Lyric who lost her mother "Melody" at the age of five in a car accident. As Lyric grew up she had to deal with her father going "A Wall" after her mother died. Her father had left her so he can go back to the army. As Lyric grew up she lived with both of her parents mother's Eva and Roselyn in Arizona. Lyric finds a guy who treats her right but ends up abusing her. After she graduated at eighteen she joins the Army to find her father till she is twenty. She comes back from overseas to go to Arizona State. With her best friends Stephanie, Valerie, Leshia, Kelsey,and Angelica. Lyric ends up going to a Trey Songz benefit dinner for his foundation. They end up meeting each other. Will their relationship work out or will all of Lyric's past spilt them about.
