Imagine if everything you thought you knew was real was in fact a lie. A lie hidden behind centuries of deceit, betrayal, and mystery. When even your own history was in fact a beautifully constructed fairytale, told in the eyes of the winner and the upholder, and was made to be recited with conviction and sincerity. When Trinity Sparks woke up late for her placement test, she had believed everything that was told to her and thought it to be true. After scrapping her knee and unwillingly being taken to the hospital, she hastily agrees to follow Raina Belcher into the forbidden forest right outside of her small community, where she meets a small revolutionary group whose intent is to bring down Queen Celeste. This turns Trinity's life upside, as she soon discovers that her world isn't what she thought it was. Now it's up to her and her newly discovered five friends, along with someone who she wouldn't necessarily call a friend to overthrow an ancient ruler, whose intents have never been revealed, before the end of the century unfolds in four days. They must now use history to their advantage, and find a way to accomplish their mission, with no clear path on how to do so. All they know is that they somehow must do all of this before the end of the century in four days, while trying to keep someone who would rather see them dead on their side. Will they succeed or will they find out that she is more than she seems? Will Trinity find that sometimes history and science is misleading? Will the power of friendship and love be the only thing to save them in the end? Or will they find that they are too late to stop her?

[EXCERPT] I swerved around and managed to prevent a werewolf from attacking Lincoln's unprotected back in the nick of time. Adrenaline rushed through my veins as I deflected the multiple slashes from the werewolf; focusing on my own battle instead of worrying about Lincoln. Words could not describe my feelings when my cold blade kissed the attacker's thick skin at the nape of its neck, leaving behind a trail of crimson blood. A yelp tore from its throat as it backed away from me. The corners of my lips lifted upwards when Lincoln said a word of encouragement. Our backs met for a fleeting moment before we sprung back into action again. Pushing my limits to the brink of being Crazed, I relied on my increased stamina as a vampire for the sake of winning this difficult battle. The scent of blood, the sound of the delicious veins pumping the sweet, red juice to the werewolves' hearts, and the sight of their muscles tensing teased my ultimately magnified senses to tear their bodies apart. I became hungry. ~~~ Artemis Columbine, previously known as Fennel August, was killed on that one fateful night by a Crazed vampire. It wasn't a coincidence that he wanted to sink his teeth into her neck, she possessed the powers of an ultimate ruler of them all. High Blood. Although she is saved from Oblivion by a vampire who is respected by all kinds of creatures, her memories were still lost in that place of darkness and sorrow. Despite being rescued only for her savior's selfish reasons, will she choose to stay with him or search for her human parents? Or worse, recover her rightful throne and slaughter anyone that comes in her way? Highest #208 in Fantasy Cover made by @elphadora

‘It would be addictive, enthralling and consuming. Her readers would not be able to put the book down until the final sentence. It would be the next big thing. This, she knew.’ Sophia Drakos is an author - in the sense that she writes books, not that she actually gets published. Having been rejected by publishers too many times to keep count, she finally decides to craft the ultimate novel; the true money-maker. One that would make her name famous in every house and even spawn a blockbuster movie: Romance. She already has the perfect protagonist; Ariel Winters, the exotic, curvaceous example of everything Sophia was not. Later, she would decide that was where everything had gone wrong. Ariel was attractive, and certainly addictive. Sophia can’t stop writing, images of Ariel dominating her every thought. Soon, Sophia finds herself trapped in her own, perceptively real, literary otherworld created for Ariel’s romantic escapades with the sexy police officer, Jack. Initially a dream, Sophia’s reality quickly transforms into a nightmare as she discovers the horrible truth about her efficacy. Ariel knows she is being stalked, Jack is romantically redundant and none of the characters submit to her expectations. Can she stay balanced and in control, or will she succumb to the lure of absolute power as The Author?
