Do faeries truly exist? The World Faery Society (WFS) is determined to answer that question by investigating its biggest mystery yet: The Westbury Faery. Is she real? And if so, who is she and what is her story? But the WFS can't do it alone; the Society needs your help in writing her story. Explore the evidence, read theories and stories put forth by others, and write your own tale about The Westbury Faery's origins. The WFS will shortlist 100 of the most imaginative stories and theories about The Westbury Faery, and 20 winners will be published by Tiny Owl Workshop in a beautifully illustrated book in 2017. You can write flash fiction stories between 100 to 500 words or short stories between 1,500 to 3,000 words. Be sure your stories examine the question: Who is The Westbury Faery and what is her story? Ever since Lucia grew wings, things have been going crazy. Mace, an annoying boy, is the only one who knows about the wings. Lucia is determined to find her real home with people like her are. However, it's not as she expects. When she reaches her real home, Lucia ends up in a bad situation. Mace and some guards have all been 'fairynapped.' Mace, who Lucia actually starts to care about, suffers whenever Lucia tries to use her powers to free everyone. The kingdom may fall in the wrong hands if Lucia does not do something fast. With so little time, what can she do?

The Westbury Faery may not be as kind and loving as people anticipate. In addition to being a beautiful beacon of worship in the Westbury Forest, she is also a trickster and thief. Her mysterious aura has yet to be broken, but there may be only a matter of time before people learn of her true intentions.

I am the all powerful Westbury Faerie, but will only continue to be if I can find the last Westbury Faerie and reveal our existence to humankind.
