23 year old Louis Tomlinson was a well-known cop in the city of London. He was recognized and respected by almost everyone. Criminals feared him. All criminals, except one-21 year old Harry Styles. Harry was a troublemaker. You name it, chances are, he's done it-graffiti, shoplifting, possession of illegal substances, things of that sort. His father, a wealthy businessman, charms Harry's way out of being convicted, no matter how many times he's been arrested. But that all changes when Louis is stationed in Holmes Chapel. These two keep meeting up, and almost never on good terms. Strange feelings arise for both of the men. But a cop can't love a convict- right?

He believed in god but he didn't believe the church's teachings. He longed to express himself but his mother was strict to her Christian ways. Detention is supposed to be a punishment, but for Louis and Harry, it's the start of something beautiful. Unfortunately, what starts off as a harmless love affair quickly takes a turn for the worse. Through all the stereotypes, judgments, family issues, and demons from the past, Louis and Harry struggle to stay strong. What happens in detention, stays in detention. [NOTE: I began writing this book in 2011 when I was 13 years old. There are many grammatical errors, cringe-worthy moments, and plot inconsistencies. Obviously, my writing has improved immensely since 2011, so please feel free to check out any of my more recent works instead. This book is not representative of my present-day writing abilities.
