Axel James King commands attention as the ultimate heartthrob - blessed with looks, wealth, and a trail of adoring girls. A world of opulence and glamour orbits around him until his gaze locks on Chloe Jones. Chloe, the classic good girl, is all about doing things right - stellar grades, on a scholarship, and from a down-to-earth background. Juggling two jobs to make ends meet, she quietly shoulders the responsibility of caring for her father, navigating a life that's far from easy. As their worlds collide, the clash of cool meets good isn't all smooth sailing. Tensions rise, and the unexpected chemistry between Axel and Chloe threatens to disrupt the status quo of Richmonte High's social hierarchy. Dominic King strongly disapproves of his son's relationship, but the storm truly hits when a scandalous video of Axel and Chloe spreads like wildfire at school, turning their lives upside down. To escape the drama, they run away, but life outside isn't as rosy as they thought. Dealing with surprise obstacles, a silent tension sneaks into Axel and Chloe's relationship, making them wonder if leaving their old lives behind for each other was actually a big, regrettable mistake. It's like an unspoken question hanging in the air - can their love tough it out or will it crumble under the pressure? "If you turn your back to me again, you better be bending over, sweetheart." *** Everyone warns you about boys who go looking for troubles, who have bruised knuckles and split lips, whose eyes are so dark that it seems like they could swallow oceans and come out alive, about the boys who look like danger, but no one warns about boys who stay silent for way too long, or ones with rings under their eyes, boys with sad eyes and boys who whisper things so sweet, so quietly that you wonder if he was an angel. Everyone warns you about the bad boys, but no one seems to warn you about the broken ones. Bar Red was a broken boy who finally finds someone to help mend his scattered pieces. Everyone saw him as the untrustworthy, unstable beast who was more than willing to punch anyone's face in. Swear words and bad habits mixed with smirks and wicked grins are enough to ward anyone off. But, apparently for Clementine, that's exactly what pulls her in. She has no clue what she's getting into but she's about to find out. She wasn't innocent, not by far, but she had dignity, a warm aura, niceness, and stubbornness that could rival a mule. Mix that with Bar's possessiveness and overprotective behavior, some interesting situations will definitely arise. Adding in the fact that Clementine had to tutor Bar for the rest of the school year and his almost instinctual urge to be apart of her life, they are bound to get close. Bar swears, Clementine hates it. He fights, she glares while bandaging up his knuckles. She reads instead of eats and he refuses dinner until she joins him. He is rude and she ignores him until he apologizes. Both, easily, frustrate the other while simultaneously falling into love. Broken boys are the only ones that can fix themselves so will this broken boy manage to do so before he drives away the one girl who wiggled her way past every barrier? This is the story of a broken bad boy clashing with the sad good girl. * #1 in the Red series Stand alone

"C'mon guys! We need to get to-" Plop. "What the fu-" I growl, but don't get to finish my sentence because I'm met with a pair of dark aqua eyes. "My bad... Actually, I'm almost 100% sure it was you who bumped into me," the boy grumbles. "Listen up pretty boy," I start saying while standing up, "I don't know what happened to your manners, but you just crossed a line you shouldn't have even drawn, now are you going to apologize, or not?" He chuckles, "You're cute when you're angry." "I get my temper from my dad," I reply, keeping my face intimidating. He rocks on the back of his heels, "I'm waiting for my apology, clumsy." I glare, "My name's Astrid, call me that or don't bother calling me at all." I growl, stomping away with my bag. Before I can catch up to Grace and Carter, I look back and see the blonde idiot smirking to himself at the end of the hall. AUTHORS NOTE: Hello my fellow fishies!!! The last time I wrote a chapter for this was over a year agooooo. The second book can be read as the last one. I won't delete this but I don't see myself finishing it. I'm so sorry :( Xoxo, Batman

I hear footsteps close behind me and the door pushes open meaning he followed me in here. "I hate you!" I yell at him and he gets closer as I back up, and I hit the wall. "I hated you first." He shoots back glaring right into my eyes. "You just had to go off and tell your little friends didn't you? You just couldn't resist the urge, then they went off and told Rebecca." "What that we kissed?" He says smirking and then rolling his eyes. "Worst kiss ever." he added "I couldn't agree more." I said glaring into his blue eyes. "I think you think the opposite princess." He says smirking moving a little closer. "Ace your too close." I said putting my hand on his hard chest, and he looked where my hand laid. "Am I?" he asks and I nod nervously and close my eyes. "This thing between us, is done." He says, referring to the little flirty love romance thing that we both knew we had between us. The fact that he said that made my stomach drop. "Over, for sure." I agree, trying to hold back the urge to cry right there. "Your a jerk, a jerk that I can't believe I used, key word used, to have a crush on. You play girls like they're some kinda of toy and nobody deserves that, and you don't deserve me." I look to the side studying the tiled wall, then I look back at his face and he stares into my green eyes as I stare into his blue ones, stunned filled his eyes and maybe, possibly hurt. Before I could even think of what was happening, I feel his lips roughly press against mine and I didn't take any time to kiss him back, our lips moving in sync. I missed this. I missed the time he kissed me in the hallway, the time that I wanted to kiss him more and more but I knew that I couldn't because he had a girlfriend. This time I didn't have any holdback, I kissed him like he had been gone for years and I had just seen him again. It felt great.
