18-year-old Sheyanna Polite lived a difficult life being a teen mom and known as the "prodigal daughter" to her parents. To make matters worse, her child's father/ boyfriend (Will) isn't stepping to the plate in order to help take care of his child. Sheyanna deserved better but because of Will's status in the streets, she just couldn't seem to shake Will until another man came along and attempted to rescue her from a brutal and unfulfilling life with her child's father.

Ciara finds herself caught in a world when she might be finding herself in love with Miguel but when happens when her boyfriend (Future) figures out and turns abusive towards her.
