After thousands of years of being alone, stranded in dead space, she finally picked up a signal. The Autobot leader inviting his followers to the planet Earth. Delta crashes on the organic planet, expecting to find a mass of Autobots welcoming her, but is met a handful of Autobots desperately fighting for their lives and the organic planet. Ironhide is the fist to communicate with her and make any real connection with her. Her innocence amazed him. She seemed to be untouched by the tragedy of war and he envied her. Delta felt safe with the old war veteran. He was gruff and mean, but he was loyal above all else. She admired that and found him to be genuine. Ironhide was who he was and he didn't back down from anything, not even their leader. Their friendship grows and then past that had always haunted Delta comes back to bite her. It leaves her questioning who she is and her place on the team. She even questions her friendship with Ironhide and everything he taught her. There comes a time when we all have to make sacrifices. It leaves her with a feeling of abandonment that she had never felt before. She loses her morality and everything that she thought she was or ever will be. The only one left who understands her is the black-armored weapons specialist who lets down his walls to show her that she wasn't alone. Delta would never be alone as long as Ironhide's spark still burned. A/N: Transformers and the characters, except my OC(s), belong to Hasbro. This is an IronhideXOC story. I hope you enjoy.

"Let her pass." Megatron ordered his subordinates, holding up a hand to indicate they should hold their fire. Smokescreen's faceplates furrowed in confusion. What is going on? Does he know her? Dana slowed to a walk as she got closer, standing within Megatron's arm reach, looking up at the warlord. Her legs were shoulder-width apart, toes pointed outward, indicating that she was unafraid, or at the very least not timid. Her green eyes sparkled as she looked up, not breaking contact with the bright red of the enemy. "I was curious to see if you would be here." Megatron spoke to her, his body also in a more dominating position. Now, he could feel, was the time to intimidate. Here they were, face to face on common ground, neither wholly Decepticon or Autobot, with one of her friends at his mercy. I will make her fear me. "Glad to see I didn't disappoint." She replied, tilting her chin up a bit. "And here we are, on a battlefield more or less. Going to see how brave I am, Megatron?"
