Μια φορά και έναν καιρό, βαθιά μέσα στον Ατλαντικό ωκεανό υπήρχε ένα βασίλειο διαφορετικό από όλα τα άλλα. Ένα βασίλειο γεμάτο μαγεία και μυθικά πλάσματα. Στο κέντρο του βασιλείου αυτού υπήρχε ένα υπέρλαμπρο παλάτι. Κοράλλια και παράξενα κοχύλια στόλιζαν τους τοίχους του. Και στην είσοδο του παλατιού υπήρχαν δύο πελώριοι θαλάσσιοι ιππόκαμποι, άγρυπνοι φρουροί του βασιλείου. Τον δρόμο προς το παλάτι τον φώτιζαν τεράστια διαμάντια έτσι ώστε όλοι όσοι έψαχναν τον βασιλιά να έχουν την δυνατότητα να τον βρουν. Το βασίλειο ευημερούσε και οι κάτοικοί του ζούσαν χαρούμενοι υπό το άγρυπνο μάτι του βασιλιά. Όταν ο Τρίτωνας γίνεται βασιλιάς το βασίλειο χάνει την δύναμη και την ευημερία του. Οι γοργόνες ζουν υποδουλωμένες μέχρι τη στιγμή που μία νεαρή γοργόνα επιλέγει να αντισταθεί και με τη βοήθεια του Φόρκυ καταφέρνει να αποτινάξει το ζυγό του βασιλιά και να ελευθερώσει το βασίλειο.
