Lydia Martin only began to know who she really was when she was twelve years old, after her mother died in a horrific car accident. She still remembers the sight of her lifeless body laid out on the gravel on that stormy afternoon.
Sometimes, she wondered why it had been raining profusely the day of the accident, since Anneville, TX was the epitome of a ghost town, where it was always lonesome and excruciatingly hot.
Aside from past tragedies, Lydia was convinced she was born with bad luck. Her father now had lung cancer, and his chances of surviving were tied on the end of a string.
Now 25 years old, Lydia is stuck between seeking out a spark of hope from a man who's held consistency in what she believes her sorry excuse of a life, or isolating herself completely and fleeing.
But this man who endured an accident himself, an accident that gifted him with the inexplicable power over others; is far from allowing Lydia to run away and refuse to live her life.
This extensive bond held with words of wisdom, occasional heated arguments, tender touches of reassurance, and smiles that linger were enough for Jesse Custer to discover their fate.
>>>if you're familiar with the show or the comics, I decided I'd lean more towards the storyline of the comics since it goes more in depth about Jesse's family and his past.<<<
>>>Lydia Martin's character does come from Teen Wolf. And again, if you're familiar with either the show or comics, you'd know Tulip and Jesse are initially together. As much as I love Tulip, and their relationship, I chose to leave her out of this story since I incorporated Lydia Martin in her place.<<<
