Carmelo lives in a wild life. With an abusive father, and his mama who's scared to stand up. Carmelo knows he won't achieve because his personal life affects his academic and social life. He's rude, aggressive, careless, and more. He never trusts anyone, he's very bipolar and has anger problems. But he does want to change that. Justice lives in the spoiled rich world where everything comes easy. She's the most popular girl at her school, with the nicest or most swagged out clothes. The number 1 girl on every list for being pretty, curvy, tall, talented, rich and more. When these to people meet together, things are a little rough, until they know more about each others backgrounds.

Dr. Knowles is a AP history teacher that teaches at Martin High school. This is her first year teaching and she comes in the middle of the school year. Once there she meets the school's menace Onika Maraj. Onika is a troubled teen, she's amazingly talented but the abyss of her dark past hinders her from what there is to come. Dr. Knowles and Onika immediately bump heads but what happens when they both sense something past their simultaneous hatred they have for one another.

He scorned her not to consort with the likes of that heathen, but she didn't listen... Her heart beats fast when she's around her. Even when she so badly wants otherwise, she can't shake her indelible presence from her memory... Was she really drowned deep in the warmth of love? Or was she blinded obliviously by the glory of the devil asking for her hand in the last dance.
