Seán "Jack" McLoughlin was the oddball of the village. For being the only one who was brave enough to venture past the big wall. He'd earned the name "Green Seán", it was quite awkward because they mispronounced his name for it to rhyme, from the fact that he'd spend most of his time out in the woods beyond the wall and either sit in the trees or pick through the shamrocks to find four-leaved ones. Four-leaved clovers were said to be lucky and legend said that if you collected enough of them, you'd be lead to your fate. But, when Seán finds a special one far off in the forest, he stumbles upon a large dark palace and meets... a monster.

AU: Loki escapes from Jotunheim after Frigga is killed (for different reasons than in the movie) and ends up in Stark Towers with a severe injury. How will the Avengers deal with an injured and PTSD Loki?

Loki knows pain. He's dealt with much worse than Odin, that sentimental fool. He knows that whatever his punishment will be, he will bear it with ease. But, to Loki's growing horror, Odin can be very creative when it comes to discipline. But being stripped of most of his magic, forced under an obedience spell, reaved of his lies and sent to live with the Avengers is cruel, even for Odin. But Loki will survive. (It isn't like he has much choice, anyways.)

After Loki's attack on Manhattan, he is sent back to Asgard and is sentenced to imprisonment. Except the second Thor leaves and returns to earth by choice, Odin transfers Loki to the dungeons and brutally tortures him until there is nothing left of the Loki that everyone knew, and becomes terrified and overly submissive, hiding his scars and never opening his mouth to speak. When Thor returns seven months later, he sees this but is not told why his brother has become like such. In a panic, Thor decides to dump him with S.H.E.I.L.D and is kept under watch by the Avengers in order to get him away from Asgard. To everyone's shock, he is too busy being terrified of punishment to try anything. Tony's suspicions get the best of him and when he ends up trying to 'rehabilitate' Loki, he get's far more than he bargained for. --this is a reprint from my a03, so I will not be making any gramatical fixes on earlier chapters-- 2019 update: AH SHIT ITS AT NUMBER 1 IN FROSTIRON TAG HI EVERYONE! Prompt: Person A is near Person B's house and decides to walk over, but it unexpectedly starts pouring rain. By the time A gets to B's house, they are completely soaked through and shivering.
