Sitting on it, and uncertain of his abilities. Fate soon gives him little chance when a human boy comes into his life. Dylan Logan has had a harder life than most. Physically, psychologically, and sexually abused by his father until he was rescued at age five, he has since bounced from foster home to foster home for the past nine years. He has one rule: trust no one, especially adult men, and keep up the tough facade that he has put up to save him from more pain and heartbreak. When the boy slowly gets under his plating, Ratchet soon finds himself thrust into the role of father. One that Dylan isn't sure how to handle, nor used to in any way, shape, or form. But as both quickly learn, he most definitely could be the parent the troubled youth has always needed.

The war has ended, leaving Megatron as a prisoner and Optimus as the new leader of Cybertron. Unwilling to execute Megatron for hate of killing yet another mech, Optimus devises a plan to hopefully change Megatron for the better. But there are always flaws with even the best of plans, so the Prime must take the good with the bad as he tries to show Megatron that even he can feel happiness. (Chapter three was deleted by a wattpad glitch, so the story will be a little choppy without that section. Not to worry, it doesn't mess up anything too important!)
