He reached out his hand towards me. He made no questions, no further comments. He didn't seem to care at all about my completely white eye now covered in a black patch, nor about the white bunny puppet on my shoulder which talked when my lips couldn't move, nor the thread on my lips that sealed them together. I looked up at him, half his face was covered by a white porcelain mask, the other half was decorated with the most honest smile anyone had ever given to me. His eyes seemed made of glass and they were light pink. I had never seen eyes like his, was he blind? But he didn't seem like it... Probably he was just wearing lenses. It was really difficult to guess what was going through his mind. Under his right eye there was a little red heart painted. His black long hair tied in a high ponytail made a beautiful contrast with his pale face. He was tall and slightly muscular and all his body seemed to irradiate some kind of misterious elegance, like a dark purple butterfly that is a different kind of beautiful than any other butterfly but beautiful as well. He didn't move or talk even though I had just been staring at him for a rather long time now. My eyes swifted from his face to the stretched hand in front of me. Gracious slender fingers slightly curved upwards. Inviting, like the warmth of the home's fire on a cold winter night. He reached out his hand towards me, and I took it. "Welcome home darling, you are one of us now" And somehow, I knew that he was right.
