Emmett Locke gave up on love years ago; that is, if you can give up on something you never really believed in. Sure, he would have gladly accepted a relationship and consistent sex, but it just wasn't that easy. He didn't do bars, clubs, or any of the other things gay men were 'supposed' to do and he sure as hell wasn't going on some stupid app. He'd accepted, rather begrudgingly, that no one was just going to fall into his lap. Finnegan Walker IV had no time for any of the stupid men who wooed, harassed, or eye-fucked him on a seemingly hourly basis. He wasn't dumb, even if people assumed he became Vice-president of his family's company at the ripe old age of 26 because of his name. Being smart meant that he refused to be used for his money, name, looks, or body and the fact was that by the end of his long days he had very little left to give. Why couldn't he meet someone who didn't want to take, take, take? That was alright; there were more important things in life. Friday afternoon, their worlds collided. Literally. Emmett and Finnegan probably never would have met otherwise. They may as well have been from different planets. Luckily for them both, Finn was reckless. Or maybe it really *was* Emmett's fault? This is a two-book series with a middle, his daddy, and a lot of expectations turned on their heads. Angst is pretty low and it ends in a HFN.

Book 3 of Reverse. Can be read as a stand-alone. bxb Being a male prostitute wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Every rake in England likely dreamed of the job, but Hollem could tell them that it wasn't all sex and sweet talk. He watched liars stalk through the doors at half past midnight, their heads held high, as if they weren't cheating on their wives. Young lads would come in during the early evening, drunk off their minds. Dealing with them was one of his main duties. They always thought that just because they had money, that they could have a go at any girl they wished. Well, that wasn't how his mistress's brothel was run. He had his own clients more often than one would think. Ladies of high prestige were common during the early hours of the morning, seeking a satiation that their husbands couldn't provide. Ruined ladies also found their way to him, dreaming of a love that they could no longer find due to losing their womanhood before marriage. Rarely, he had male clients. Usually they were young lads about their twenties. They were always hesitant and quiet. Nervous. More than half of them were sent away with a short talk. The few he did take to bed were given what they had come for, but they weren't loved. That was an emotion Hollem believed to be untrue, and he considered nothing able to change his mind on that fact.

*Previously named: I'm Not A Saint* ----- "Do you honestly not get it yet?" A small part of me questioning out of pure amazement, but mostly out of built-up anger. There's a slight pause before he responds, " That you're blind? Well no shit. I just wanted to know what the papers were." So calmly that it causes a shiver up my spine. Despite my whole body telling me not to, I turn in his direction. His words seem to repeat in my head. Any composure that I had-gone- replaced with an overwhelming amount of insecurity. The moment he said those words, I thought he could be the somebody. The somebody that wasn't like the rest of the students here. But instead a small gasp leaves his lips and he doesn't say anything anymore. I close my eyes and face the front of the class again. "No shit, right?" I mutter under my breath. My eyes will always be a clear give away to the fact that I'm blind. From my memory of before, when everything had color, they were a deep brown. After the accident however, most of the color left and a dullness entered, according to my mom. She claims they still have the appearance of normal eyes, just slightly discolored hazel ones. I will never be able to decide that for myself. ------

Now available in paperback! "I LOVE IT!" - CarniaHolmes "I'm going to break your nose, because I don't like your face," Carter said. She pointed to Zac. "I'm going to dislocate your other shoulder, just to make them even." She cocked her head and gave the main guy a sickly sweet smile. "I'm going to break your wrist, taking away your baseball career. And finally you, Finch," she said, looking to the last guy. "I'm going to bust your ankle because I don't like the way you walk." She slid her hands into her pockets. "Now, how does that sound to all of you? And please feel free to look amused, skeptical or patronizing at this point. I'll have all the more fun wiping the expressions off your faces." Carter Owens, daughter of a Secret Service agent, is trained to disassemble any weapon, any situation, and anyone. Her biting sarcasm and razor-sharp mind make her impossible to beat in a word fight and when talking doesn't work, she uses her fists. She attends Hamilton Prep, Washington D.C.'s most prestigious high school, where everyone is related to someone in power, except her. When Hamilton Prep receives a flood of new students, Carter's role as social outcast changes when she makes two unexpected friends. Friends who are hiding a secret. As Carter uncovers the truth, she confronts challenges she is unequipped to handle and finds herself in a dangerous situation. For a girl trained to see everything, Carter never saw this coming.
