This is my twist on the secret of Moonacre. I don't own the characters (not all of them at least). The story is the same I just changed it a bit.

Everyone knows how the the last Moon Princess saved Moonacre from being plunged into eternal darkness. But what about the young man in the shadows? The heir to the De Noir clan. The one who made it possible for Maria to find the Moon Pearls? What did he witness? What hardships and abuse did he shoulder from his father? What could've happened or been said that would make Robin De Noir put everything; his inheritance, title, and even his life; on the line to run to the aid of Maria Merryweather?

Often times when I'm alone, my mind conjures up the image of the pale white moon. It's large, so large that it looks as if it could swallow dear little Moonacre in all of it's entirety. And then I feel the crushing weight of water, swirling around me. My hands frantically try to swipe the pearls off the bodice of my dress as the cold waves push me down further. My lungs cry out for air but I still plummet to the bottom of the dark ocean. When I'm finally forced to gulp down the salty liquid, I'm at peace- serene. And everything fades to black... ------------------------------------ Maria and Robin seem to be in an endless dance; one day they take a step forward, the next they take a step back. With pressure and tension mounting, will they end up together, or will someone end up with a broken heart?

After the ending of Maria and Moonacre, Maria sets out to do everything she can to make the valley once again a happy thriving place and to fix up her relationship with Robin. But when a new visitor comes to make war in Moonacre can Maria keep everything together? Or will she let Robin go because of it? "You believe so," The Head Master asked the boy who shot daggers at the girl. "I mean she put up a good fight with me. So I assume she has something with her...a little kick of something, and I sure of that." The boy rubbed his bicep that had a huge cut a long it. Everything has a darkside, right? Maria Merriweather's Father has died, and she is leaving the city for the country. She is going to live in Moonacre, but it all changes when someone kidnaps her, before she reaches Moonacre. This is my own Moonacre story, I don't own the characters, but I did somewhat change their attitudes, and change the story.
