As the maximum security patient, he was locked away from the world. Until a new arrival, struggling with the deepest, darkest depression, stumbled across the locked door to his separate ward. By the powers of his manipulation, will be able to befriend the new arrival and carry out his manic plan? Or will his own intentions destroy the dwindling sanity left in his mind.

When Gerard is pulled aside to meet Frank, the new student in the school, he is told to help show him around. Gerard figures it's just for a few days, but doesn't realize that he will end up not wanting Frank to leave. Both soon realize they are falling in love with the other. Every relationship has it's obstacles, just not many are as secretive as these.

Frank Iero hates small talk, he's had enough people asking him "How are you?" to last his entire lifetime. But he's in for even more of the painful updates he dreads so much. A mass email sent from an old friend leads Frank to a place of genuine terror; a high school gym, where he is forced to partake in a reunion from his teenage group therapy... As if he couldn't get more fed up with being questioned. And only one person seems to share his mind set. But this one person, this Gerard Way brings a 'how are you?' and a necessary worry with him at all times.

Frank is a new kid at high school who has a crush on a boy called Gerard. Gerard is over protected by a boy called Bert who really likes him too. Frank makes friends with someone called Jeph, he really likes Bert. Frank wants to kiss Gerard at the New Years Eve school party but will he bring up the courage to do it? Will they get together? Will Bert realise Jeph likes him?
