" The problem is," he said as he leaned in, " if I kissed you, I don't think I'd be able to stop myself. " " Well, don't kiss me then. I'd need to breathe at some point and death from erotic asphyxiation isn't how i plan to go out..." ✿❀✿ Kayla Morgan never understood what her parents meant by, " Bad things happen to good people. " She had a great family. Her mom and dad loved her and her older sister and spent every moment possible with them. That was, until she was six when she lost her mother during her baby sister's birth. Her dad went from a caring father, grieving the loss of his wife to an abusive alcoholic. Carter Marshall isn't as strong as everyone thinks he is. Being the school's bad boy, he has expectations to live up to and feelings to hide. He'd much rather be hurt physically than emotionally because you can put a bandaid on your finger but not on your heart. What happens when he starts to slowly break down her walls without her even noticing? Will he build her back up with windows so light can shine through? Or will she have to construct them again herself? ✿❀✿ " I love you, " Carter shouted, his words impacting me. " I have loved you since the day I met you, and since then, what I've felt has only grown. My thoughts can't fucking move without being drawn back to you. " He dropped his hands by his sides, defeat taking over his feature. " You're it. You're my world, " his voice cracked. Slowly, he looked towards my eyes with no remorse. It hurt my heart to say what I did, but it needed to be said. I couldn't have him breaking down my walls again and getting hurt. " But you're not my world, " I whispered, " you never will be. " ✿❀✿ All Rights Reserved ⇢Basically, you copy, you die (: Also- If you're looking for a happy ending, this book isn't for you.

"What the hell?! Kennedy!" I watch as Ryder turns around furiously and strides towards me. Oh oh. Maybe I took it too far... "What's wrong with you?! Did you really have to cover my car in pink sticky notes?!" He steps towards me and I take a step back. He steps forward again and I step back until I'm up against the wall. "Well if you would have left me alone when I told you to, I wouldn't have had to do it," I fire back. He chuckles. "You don't know what you just got yourself into." "What do you mea--" I get cut off by his lips on mine. I freeze. What was happening? And why did it feel so good? Ryder grabs my waist and pulls me closer to him. I wrap my arms around his neck and tangle my fingers in his hair. He bites down on my bottom lip softly. As I was about to part my lips, he pulls away. "Better watch your back," he says. He smirks at me and then turns around to leave. What just happened? ____________________ Kennedy is not like most girls. Instead of getting her nails done and gossiping, she would rather ride her motorcycle or dive jump. She didn't have any friends back at her old school, but will that change when she attends a new one? She meets the bad boy of the school, Ryder. One harmless prank of pouring some pudding over his head starts a whole other war. They prank each other and start to realise that they might have feelings for the other person and the other person might have feelings for them. Will they use that knowledge to their advantage? __________________ Highest rank: #8- teen fiction 12/29/16 Thank you to MySecretDiary for the amazing cover!!

Reece Bremer goes through life with a scowl and cold personality. Jessica Andrews goes through life with a glowing smile and positive outlook. Reece looks at life with dull, judgmental eyes that make him hate the world and the people living in it. Jessica, well... She looks at life through a camera. Literally. They're polar opposites, and that's what sparks Reece's immediate hate for Jessica the moment they meet. All he sees is a girl with the best life, put in the category of those who get everything handed to them on a silver platter. But who says Jessica's life is like that? Just like a photograph, there's more to the story than what you see. Stumbling across one of Jessica's hidden portfolio might reveal that her happiness isn't all that true. { Watty 2015 Winner + Featured Story } Meet Sawyer Jameson. On the outside, she's a normal seventeen year old girl with amazing friends, a charitable job and a loving family. She's beautiful, funny and easy to get along with and just by looking at her, you'd think that she's the perfect girl, living in the perfect world. On the inside though, just waking up and living her day-to-day life is a struggle for Sawyer. Well, aware of this fact, Sawyer's mother forces to see a psychiatrist after school on a daily basis in order to cope with the tragic events Sawyer encountered a year prior. Now meet Graham Cambridge. Those who don't know him could easily stereotype him as being a blunt, selfish, egotistical golden boy, just because he likes to party and play football. Those who actually know him though know that he's actually quite the opposite of all of those things. When Graham transfers from his elite prep school to Sawyer's high school and quickly takes an interest in her, things go from bad to worse. At least, that's what Sawyer's convinced herself of. What people don't realize though is that maybe they were wrong about Graham Cambridge and that his life is about as far from perfect as they come and that he and Sawyer are alike in more ways than one. Two completely different teenagers that maybe aren't all that different after all are about to embark on a wild ride that neither of them could have ever expected. Can they help each other get past their demented previous tragedies? Or are their bygones too great to ever escape them? And can Sawyer ever truly be saved? Full of romance, heartbreak and just a little bit of fate, the next couple of months will challenge both Sawyer and Graham in ways they never thought possible. And maybe, just maybe, something beautiful will come out of it. © Copyright 2013 Millie Morgan. All Rights Reserved.
