Winter and her sister, Shadow are mutant cats living, and training in the sewers of NYC. Training for what? To be ninjas of New York. But at age fifteen, they go to the surface for the fist time, and discover four turtle brothers. They go back home to tell their sensei, Kaede what they found.

Naomi is human, but when the boys kidnap her (for the stupidest reason), they all freak out as she mentions her name. But what's behind her name that Naomi doesn't know about?
