Wuthering Heights is a wild, passionate story of the intense and almost demonic love between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, a foundling adopted by Catherine's father. After Mr Earnshaw's death, Heathcliff is bullied and humiliated by Catherine's brother Hindley and wrongly believing that his love for Catherine is not reciprocated, leaves Wuthering Heights, only to return years later as a wealthy and polished man. He proceeds to exact a terrible revenge for his former miseries. The action of the story is chaotic and unremittingly violent, but the accomplished handling of a complex structure, the evocative descriptions of the lonely moorland setting and the poetic grandeur of vision combine to make this unique novel a masterpiece of English literature.

Ally was practically invisible. She had her mom, store clerks, and those moments in school when someone bumped into her. Oh, and of course she had her blog. Ally's blog was actually very popular throughout the city and she would be too if she didn't use her cover name 'Mavery'. Her secret has been well kept for quite a while, no one knows except for her and her computer, but then of course there is a new kid in town who just so happens to bring in complications. But when he decides to show off his gentle-manly behavior to the new girl in his workplace, his habits are put to trial in ways that leaves everyone in the town astounded (especially the old women who are used to Lovely Robert holding their hand while crossing the road). Andsobut, Robert decides to show this overly-witty girl that his so-called gentlemanly habits are far better than her nasty customs (i.e. nail-biting, thumb-finger-sucking, swearing-every-minute-of-every-day, etc.). And he does show her. But it's not like the girl isn't a Major at streaming buckets of malevolent terms from her mouth every time he even attempts to hold a door open for her. A story of one gentleman, one infuriatingly sarcastic girl, and his puny attempts to show her that not all gentlemen are jerks in disguise.
