Eighteen year old Lavender "Van" Morrison, and her mother, father and nine year-old sister Rose move to the quiet countryside in Canada. After, her father loses his job due to the economy in the city, and finds a job working for a farm. For Van this is all new, and doesn't know what to make of this, however, she wants to be left alone and stay low-key. That all changes when she lays eyes on twenty-one old Eric Hansen (Corey Haim), she doesn't know what to make of this country boy, and she can't help but be curious about him. Van is dumbfounded when Eric acts sort of stand-offish at first, and doesn't talk to her very much, however, one night she finds something out about him that surprises her. During the summer Van, and Eric get to know each other, their relationship starts off rocky, however, it escalates into something more. Especially, after the night a Mad Max's...
