There is an innate fear and an even more innate attraction to darkness that humans carry with them from birth,that gives the night heavy symbolism of passage and change.Few people ever look deeper into it,that the night may be a reflection on what has passed. Laila mourns the loss of her parents,more than she does anyone else,but she still carries brilliant strength of spirit,and an encounter with a spirit that has been dormant since antiquity is probably going to act as a catalyst for her ascent. The story I tend to produce is one of reflection,transformation,and of course,ambition and hope.
