After the long pursue of her love for Dijun had moved the heavens Dijun and Feng Jiu were fated together. Causing both Feng Jiu and Dijun were severely injured. When they had woken up, a brand new chapter awaits ahead of them. After their 200 years of seperation and the almost close called to death with the evil demon Miao Luo, they were together at last. Living their joyful moments with their son Bai Gun Gun. However, naive discipline goes by Zhu Fang had entered their life causing them chaos to fight one last time with fate. What happens after Dong Hua and Xiao Bai get out from the chasm. This is a variation of the story in the 2nd book "The Pillow Book" in the Three Lives, Three Worlds Series of Tangqi Gongzi. In this variation, there is no Bai Gun Gun yet at the start of the story. There will be many sweet moments here for our couple but it would not be without a little bit of angst. Don't worry, this will have a happy ending as I hate sad endings. Also, for the most part, I assumed that the reader is familiar with the story of Eternal Love of Dreams as I will not go into too much details on the background of the story and the characters. I sometimes will go back to a previously published chapter to make some changes to make the story better and edit grammatical errors. I'm sorry if this will cause any inconvenience to the readers. There may be some chapters with more mature contents. I will try to flag them at the beginning of the chapter. This is the first book I have written so please bear with me. Having written a few chapters, I've noticed that I'm not an outline writer which means I really don't know where this story will be taking me yet but rest assured, I will be finishing it as another thing I can't stand are unfinished stories. This is a variation of the Pillow Book by Tang Qi Gong Zi so I do now own any of the characters. This is mainly a short, fluff story dealing with "What if Donghua Dijun had gotten to know Bai Feng Jiu when she was still a fairly maid in Tai Chen Palace. Would their path towards love be any easier?" I will be departing from Canon in many instances so this is not a retelling of the events in the book. For the most part, the background information on the main characters will be the same so I will not deal deeply with them as I assume most of the readers would have seen the Eternal Love of Dreams drama series from whence the inspiration for this story comes. I hope you enjoy this story as much I am anticipating enjoying the writing of it. For those who adored the love story between Donghua and Fengjiu and still could not get enough, this is for you.

This story is about the birth and development of the best friendship between Donghua Dijun and his little fox. In my re-imagined story, I am attempting to give our beloved leads a genuine chance at love with their own thoughts, behaviors, and desires. Granted, life is full of misunderstandings, obstacles and karma. Donghua learns that being a heartless god has its consequences. Having been careless and inconsiderate with the hearts of those who had fawned over him, he'll find it difficult to fulfill his. At its very core, this is a character-driven story about healing from trauma and the growth of a deep and meaningful friendship. It also attempts to explore the coming of age of love and desire for each of them. Those who can't tolerate slow burns should avoid reading this story ;) They meet much later, (she never becomes his maid) and was not involved in the BQ/Su Su/YH situation. Xiao Bai is young and very innocent as this story unfolds. Donghua is arrogant and obtuse, though with more playfulness and tenderness in the style of The Pillow Book. His edges are much softer. There are quite a few characters from the original series. Zhe Yan, Mo Yuan, Bai Zhen, Bai Qian, Ye Hua, Lian Song, Si Ming and Zhong Lin will make appearances, plus others from Eternal Love and ELOD. Lust + desire will play a part of this story so mature themes/content in later chapters. Reader discretion advised. Story is also LGBTQ+ friendly, as am I. This story and the characters are based on Tangi Gongzi's Three Lives Three Worlds, the Pillow Book, and TMOPB.
