Sakura Nanami, watched her mother be brutally murdered and leaves her home town. She wanders through the woods and ends up in a town named Edo. There she finds Natsumedo Library, and visits everyday to read. She loved reading books, but this place was special. There were books from the owner Natsume. Those were her favourite books. A while later, she visits Kyokatei and visits Kinshiro. Kinshiro was a friend of the person who had trained Sakura so she asked if she could join the vigilantes. Later, Sakura finds out that Natsume was working with the vigilantes too. Kinshiro told Sakura to stay at Natume's. Sakura and Natsume took out jobs together but something happens to their friendship after a special job.
