Sherlock Holmes es un detective consultor que no es muy experimentado en el tema de los sentimientos. No tiene amigos hasta que conoce a John Wattson, su compañero y futuro mejor amigo. Para la segunda parte de esta historia/temporada/serie, llega a Londres una chica que tiene mucho en común con el menor de los Holmes. Ella se llama Pamela Moriarty. Trabajaba en el extranjero para varias agencias secretas hasta que se enteró de lo que su hermano estaba haciendo en Londres. Decide dejar todo e ir. Ella es todo lo contrario a Jim, pero tanto él como Pamela son inteligentes, astutos y detestan aburrirse, ella también posee una excelente capacidad de deducción que sorprenderá mucho a Sherlock, y su mundo se removerá.

La gente común nunca se da cuenta cuando hay un genio a la par de ellos, de vez en cuando los ven pasar sin decir palabra, otras veces solos en las bancas de un parque, pero ¿Qué pasa cuando dos genios viven juntos?
