When a trip into the forest goes terribly wrong, Dipper and Mabel Pines are cursed and experience some...changes. Dipper's now sporting antlers and hooves, while Mabel has some new fishy scales. To make matters worse, the curse spreads to the town, slowly turning person after person into a monster. Meanwhile, Bill Cipher takes pleasure in the town's folks dilemma, until he too, is unexpectedly affected by the curse. But how do you turn something that's already a monster into one? Act 1 . . . [Book 1 in the Reverse Falls Trilogy] [cover by @ontheupsidedown!] Ever since his dad packed up and left, Gideon didn't want to have anything to do with him. But after his mom sends him to Gravity Falls to stay with Bud for the summer, it doesn't seem like he has much of a choice. After running into his childhood best friend, Pacifica, the summer suddenly looks promising. After all, what could possibly ruin their reunion? Oh yeah, there's the creepy Pines Twins who seem to know much more than they let on. . . Dipper Pines has always lived in the shadows with his sister. The twins have stayed away from the public eye ever since a terrible stage accident that occurred 5 years ago. Once their uncle gets desperate enough for money, he finally decides that the show will make a return. Dipper knows his sister, or at least he thinks he does, and he knows that she if she wasn't capable of handling her powers then, she definitely can't now. But the show isn't what Mabel is concerned about, and Dipper is beginning to wonder what secrets she's hiding from him. When two stories collide with the supernatural, things get a little complicated. . . . [Going under cleaning] Weirdmageddon is happening, but something is different. Has Bill really won the game? Is the world finally under Bill's reign? What if Dipper didn't decide to try and punch Bill when he was being pressured by the jerk of a triangle to do something to stop him. Instead Dipper did something unexpected that Bill didn't think he would do. Now both come into a game that neither though they would play.
