I've always heard the theory that being in an insane asylum corrupts your brain more than the actual disease does. Never did I realize I'd live that theory.

Being stripped of trouble is easier said than done, especially when it's doubled. Despite not knowing of each other's existences, Kellin Quinn and Vic Fuentes have the power to wreak havoc in almost every place, and on almost every person. Little does their new home, a Christian boarding school for troubled teens, know what chaotic mess they just might have created by assigning both boys as room mates.

While cleaning out his room to leave for college, Kellin Quinn discovers a mysterious book which holds his whole life story. Past, present, and future. So what happens when Kellin discovers Vic Fuentes, fellow student, in his future? Many things. Many good and bad things to be exact.

Three years. that's all it's taken for Vic Fuentes to lose hope in the guy he once loved. Kellin Quinn, now 24, is pursuing his dream and love of music, but times are hard for them both. Vic, who still does therapy has not moved on since that morning he awoke to find no Kellin in his bed. Kellin though, he was long gone. Now in a steady relationship with Oliver Sykes, Kellin's mind hasn't slipped back to Vic, not yet anyways. But it will.

Kellin Quinn is pretty self absorbed. He absolutely adores himself and assumes that everyone else does too. Or at least, in his opinion everyone should, anyway. But in reality, everyone that meets Kellin basically hates his guts and views him as a conceited asshole. He treats people badly, he's rude and he judges people purely on their looks. He doesn't listen to anybody and he makes up his own rules. Until one day he crosses an elderly gypsy woman who puts a curse on him that will turn his entire world upside down.

Kellin Quinn is a writer. He doesn't write best-selling books, but he does earn enough to not need a job on the side. He never even really needs to leave his house for anything... Vic Fuentes finally moves out on his own. After having gone through some bad stuff, he's eager to start anew. The house he gets seems awfully cheap for its size, but Vic is so happy to find something that is actually in his price range, that he doesn't bother to question it... Until, weird things start happening that affect both of their lives in more extreme ways than they ever bargained for.
