Elizabeth Sinclair lives in a world run by airships, steam, and magic. She was once princess of the Crown, now the young lady is captain of an airship whose voyages occasionally involve skirting the edge between legal and illegal. From small time smuggling to supporting local pirates, Elizabeth and the crew of the Crusader do it all. Elizabeth's wish that her life never change comes to a crashing halt when the new Emperor of the Crown begins to enforce his rule. Military patrols, increased taxes, and harsher laws begin to ferment a deadly brew of rebellion that blows up when the Crusader finds itself fighting toe to toe against the entire Empire.

Now worried that their own daughter may be a freak and may ruin the Young family reputation, they send poor Elizabeth away to an asylum where they think she'll get better. But they're wrong. The "treatments" for Elizabeth are just torture labeled as such and the medication they give her does stop her from seeing spirits. But it also pretty much turns her into a vegetable. A journalist sacked for phone hacking and tired of his decadent life style researches a triple murder that took place in his own ancestral home during the English Civil War. He discovers that events which occurred there nearly four hundred years ago are mirrored by his son's relationship with a Muslim girl whose father has forbidden her to marry outside of the faith. Returning to his ancestral home, the journalist finds himself assailed by memories of the tragedy which appear to be embedded into the fabric of the building and brought to life by his presence. When his son's girlfriend is abducted and forced to appear before a sham Sharia court for offending Islamic values, the memories in the house take on a more tangible form which propel the journalist into a dramatic chase to rescue his son and girlfriend from a terrible punishment.

When seventeen-year-old necromancer Sapphire Sweetman befriends the spirit of Mona Delaney, she thinks all of her problems have been solved. Mona proves to be very useful when it comes to propelling her up the social ladder at school and dishing out haunting - and sometimes frighteningly cruel - punishments to those that Saffy deems deserving, but soon she begins to realize that Mona isn't quite who she says she is. People across the county are vanishing without a trace, and when Mona demands a sinister favour in return for her loyalty, Saffy's world is upended completely. The options are clear: comply, or become subject to the rage of a spirit who is far more powerful than she first seemed. Highest chart positions: #12 in Paranormal

Magic is supposed to be easy; there's Black, White, and Green Magic, and once a Witch picks a path, that's really all she has to worry about. But for Darlena Agara, things just keep getting harder. She's torn between her best friend's choice of the Black path, and her on-again, off-again boyfriend's choice of the White path, so she tries to stall, waiting for divine inspiration. Darlena isn't expecting the form it takes, though. Hecate, the goddess of witchcraft, shows up in her living room and pressures her to choose her path, and Lena does something stupid; she declares that she'll be a Red Witch, something that doesn't exist...or does it? Daughter of Chaos is the first book in the Red Magic series, and I'm happy to share it here with you! Enjoy! If you want to read the rest of the series, book two is called Gods of Chaos, and book three is Triumph of Chaos. Both are available wherever books or eBooks are sold.

This story is about Dipper Pines and Bill Cipher! What happens when Bill Cipher has a son he can't keep? What happens when Dipper finds out that Mable is NOT his twin? Or when Dipper finds the truth about his birth family?! Find out in my new story 'Father Cipher'!!! !!I Do NOT Own Any of The Characters in This Story!! (I wish) Update: This is an old story, one of my first to be exact. The grammar is terrible, along with the plot line. I do not plan on editing this story any more than I have, so read at your own risk

"Y-you," she stuttered, staring at the handsome man sitting on the sleek black throne, "you're..." He rolled his eyes, waving his hand impatiently and said, "Hades. Come on, say it with me. Ha-des." "Hades," Ariel breathed out, still not believing the sight before her. Every picture she had seen of the gods had not depicted Hades' beauty. The god sitting before her was not a crusty old man with a white beard; no, he was a Calvin Klein model. "Yes," Hades clasped his hands together and grimaced, "the God of Death and riches; that's me." Ariel nodded, still refusing to believe but knowing she had to and Hades' grimace turned even bitter, "And you, darling, will be staying with me for quite some time." ~*~ Cover: _nymphomaniac Published: 8/6/14
