When Lukas dies and joins the Black Parade, Gerard, the ruler, questions him about who he is. Lukas tells Gerard about his daughter. Gerard told Lukas that when his daughter's time has come for her to join the Black Parade he wants her to be one of his followers. Chloe is completely unaware of what lies ahead of her.
