Alice has been hiding her true self all her life. She keeps it a secret that she can bend steel with her bare hands, that she can't be cut or broken or bruised, that she can fly through the sky like she was born among the clouds. But she feels pain. She feels tired and ashamed and frustrated. She feels grief. Most of all, she feels lost, a child wandering in the dark in search of a reason she was born this way. She hides her powers, powers that didn't help her save the life of someone she loved. But she can't hide them forever, because if she did nothing with them, if she couldn't help anyone, it would be like letting him die again. But her chance is coming. Somewhere out there, there is someone like her making a difference. If she can find him, maybe join him, she might find the answers and the redemption she needs.

~PARAGON CINEMATIC UNIVERSE: PHASE 1, BOOK 6~ *This novel serves as the culmination of all five PCU novels that have come before it, and it is the 6th and final novel of Phase 1 of the PCU. You will get the most out of it if you've read all of them first, but the important parts of their stories will still briefly be touched on.* "We will assimilate this planet.....and bring every single one of these miserable insects under our thrall. None shall stand in our way." -Malcorchus, King of the Shimmering Plane The Viper. Dr. Duncan Drevis. The Crawler. Nightclaw. Powerhouse. And Coldsnap, the Harbinger of Ice. Within the span of just two years, these six superheroes have risen up to defend the country from crime, and protecting the innocent wherever they may be. They have all gained a reputation amongst their communities, and the lawbreakers scatter at the mention of their names. All seems well, but a grave threat looms on the horizon. Malcorchus, the King of the Shimmering Plane, seeking revenge for the deaths of Nic'qura and the Opulent, has concocted a dangerous scheme to unleash the full might of the Shimmering Plane and its forces onto the planet, in a bid for world domination. His ultimate goal is the complete and total assimilation of Earth into the Shimmering Plane, and should he succeed.....it could be the end of existence as we know it. However, there is hope. The mysterious figure known as Giorgio Carlisle has been hard at work contacting all of the superheroes who have recently risen to prominence, in the hopes of getting them to work together against this new, interdimensional threat. Now, with them being called to action, it's up to them to join forces and fight Malcorchus and his team of returning villains to save the planet.....and perhaps also find out the true reason why the king wishes to destroy everything that humanity holds dear.

~PARAGON CINEMATIC UNIVERSE: PHASE 1, BOOK 4~ *This novel serves as an interquel that takes place during the 2.5 year gap between the main story of Viper's Bite and its epilogue.* James Markovsky is an 18-year-old boy from Seattle who is not really interested in academics; the only thing he cares about is breezing through school and chasing his dreams of joining the military, while also pursuing his unparalleled love for fighting and martial arts. His father, Elias Markovsky, is by far the more accepting and supporting of his two parents, but when he becomes one of the many casualties of the Blue Moon Bouquet Club Massacre in 2018 -orchestrated by infamous supervillains The Crawler and Mitchell-it only makes James more determined to achieve his goals in his father's memory. However, he is caught in a violent car crash on the way to the recruitment office. Although he survives, he loses his right arm, and is ultimately turned away and denied the chance to serve as a result, much to his devastation. After a while of unsuccessfully trying to dedicate himself to his mother Susan's security firm instead, he is visited in a dream by the Egyptian god of strength and fertility, Apis, who, in exchange for restoring his arm and granting him immense super strength, charges him with becoming his avatar, fighting for justice and defending the innocent wherever he goes. Once James finds out that a sect of rebels are planning to usurp his mother's company from the inside-led by an individual who appears to hold a grudge against Apis-it's up to him to find out who they are and bring their dangerous plot to a screeching halt, before Lockdown, Inc. is fully transformed into a highly illegal transport channel for the mysterious Avian Wing brothel. • Cover designed by @Castiment

"Who are you?" the supervillain asks. His breathless voice is surprisingly soft. I slam my hands on either side of him, leaning in so close my nose touches his mask. I'm the taller one. "It's 'Please Don't Kick My Sorry Butt,' but you can call me 'Too late, I Already Did.' " And I have to admit, that one I'm a little too proud of. ***Hey, hey! Now a Wattpad featured story!*** The superheroes are gone. For as long as Monet can remember, a league of superheroes has guarded her city. They were the citizens' idols, guardians, and best friends. As teen reporter and self-proclaimed defender of truth, justice, and the American way, Monet Jackson vows to do anything to find the heroes. And that "anything," unfortunately, includes taking a dip in a vat of toxic chemicals, being fired, and being hunted by Masquerade himself. What makes a superhero? Is it the power? The fearless, possibly reckless bravery? The cool suit? The mask? Or is it just the person? Shimmer has been a superhero for as long as she can remember--she knows nothing else. She has a suit, is both fearlessly and recklessly brave, and knows how to throw a pretty good punch. More than anything, she has power. As a matter of fact, she has more power than she knows what to do with. Enough power that hardly anyone questions why she doesn't bother to wear a mask; after all, who would be foolish enough to antagonize someone who could level a city? Widely regarded as the best hero in the world, Shimmer's white suit and wild red hair are known around the globe. All of that fear and respect don't exactly leave much room for friendship, but, in Shimmer's mind, that's just as well. She's completely devoted to her work, and she works alone. With so much power, she's never needed anyone's help. Until now.
