[Sequel to Dying to Live] The Resembool survivors stumble across not only an unimaginable force of an armed, hostile group known as the Central Province Troops, but also a peaceful number of people allied with an affiliation called the East Province. Seeking protection from the incoming horde of mebs, they team up with the East Province. After some time, Roy is forced to make a decision that could mean either the end of civilization or the end of the reign of mebs and CPTs. Horrors only imagined in fantasies begin to come to life as several different strains of this virus begin to emerge, causing different symptoms and different methods of infection. A lone set of communication lines and battery-powered radios leads the remaining survivors to one area. The last band of Amestrians must fight to survive in the end of the world as they know it.
